The T182T combines speed, elegance, safety, and range in an aircraft that is easy to fly, with a maximum operating altitude of 20,000 feet while cruising up to 176 knots.
Flight One Software brings this authentic T182T simulation exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator X users.
A personal favorite of many pilots around the world, the 182 has grown to be the second most popular model Cessna has produced after the 172. Whether you are flying into Van Nuys or smaller airfields in the Pacific Northwest, the short takeoff and landing capabilities gives the aircraft the ability to maneuver into airports both large and small with modern avionics technology. From spinner to tail, the Flight1 T182T will give sim pilots serious function and fun to wherever they decide to fly.

Aerospool WT-9 Dynamic from Lionheart Creations Posted: Saturday, July 16, 2011 - 18:56 Staff reviewer Mike Cameron assembles his Lionheart Creations' Aerospool WT-9 Dynamic, a two seat light sport aircraft, and takes it out for a spin.
"Lionheart Creations has done an excellent job with the interior textures. I could not find a single blurry texture. All objects, both large & small, are three dimensional looking. Everything including passenger seat belts, luggage, Emergency Locator Transmitter, maps on right side of the cockpit and signage all look great."
"The exterior textures are great looking without affecting performance. The amount of detail that Lionheart Creations has included with the Dynamic is incredible. Every single nut & bolt has been modeled, including the cowling quick release screws. All exterior wording is clear and easy to read and just like the interior model, I could not find a single blurry texture."
"Lionheart Creations has included an excellent 2D panel along with the VC. All of the instrumentation is easy to read. My Saitek Switch Panel works with the Dynamic which is a bonus for me."
"The Lionheart Creations Aerospool WT-9 Dynamic is a wonderful little aircraft. They have taken the time to create an accurate reproduction of the real aircraft. Textures, sound effects and animations are all excellent. The Dynamic is a perfect aircraft for practicing flight procedures and taking short VFR flights in good weather."

AVSIM Cancels 2011 FANCON Posted: Thursday, July 14, 2011 - 2:25 AVSIM’s publisher, Tom Allensworth, made the following announcement tonight; “It is with regret that the AVSIM staff and I are forced to announce tonight the cancellation of the 2011 FANCON. The current number of registrations and the number of vendors committing to attend are disappointingly few. We are compelled to cancel now in order to keep from accruing larger penalty fees than we will pay if we cancel now.
On the weekend that the FANCON had been scheduled in October, we will instead be holding our annual Board of Directors meeting at the same hotel that would have been the FANCON venue. We will have our normal Saturday night social for all of those who would like to attend.
We will award the AVSIM Bravo Zulu awards as well as the Reader’s Choice Awards despite not having the FANCON. All of the Reader’s Choice nominations will be put up to a vote on the previously announced schedule. Winners of the BZ and Reader’s Choice awards will be notified and sent their awards as well as being published on AVSIM.
Refunds will be provided to those who have registered.
As many of you know, we last held a FANCON in conjunction with Microsoft’s developer’s conference in 2007, in Seattle. FANCONS since then have not been held for a variety of reasons. Given the circumstances that we see today in the community in the U.S., we doubt that we will ever hold a FANCON again. It is obvious to us that the enthusiasm for FANCONS in the U.S. is significantly lower than that of the European FS community.
We will publish more information regarding the BOD meeting and the Social as we get closer to the event.”
FS Global Ultimate Europe/Africa from PILOTS Posted: Thursday, July 14, 2011 - 1:00 Senior staff reviewer Angelique van Campen continues the PILOT's FS Global Ultimate series. This time heading to "Europe and Africa". "I may assume that the review title speaks for itself: this software covers the entire European continent including the Azores and Iceland as well as Africa."
Angelique selects a variety of locations within the two distinct areas and by way of text and screenshots shows you the differences between the default FSX scenery, FSGlobal 2010 and FSGlobal Ultimate.
"FSGlobal 2010 covers the whole FSX/FS2004 world on six DVD’s, while PILOT’S 2nd Ultimate product comes only with Europe and Africa, on five DVD’s with an installation space of 40GB. My overall impression of these 2 continents...PILOT's have done it again! By the way, the third and final Ultimate package – Asia and Oceania - is planned for latter 2011."

Photoreal America from Sim Savvy Posted: Sunday, July 10, 2011 - 0:13 Contributing reviewer Ray Marshall travels to various points across the USA to explore Sim Savvy's Photoreal America. "Photoreal for FSX of the entire continental United States? The entire 48 states with usable, clean looking, fairly up-to-date add on scenery!"
"I have tried to make direct comparisons between what default FSX has to offer and this Sim-Savvy package. In most cases the photoreal scenery wins hands down. The FSX default scenery is crisper and cleaner but we all know it never matches up with what is really out there."
"I think most of our PCs will handle 5 – 8 states at a time without a groan. If you are still in doubt about whether your type of flying would benefit from having this Massive Scenery, then I recommend you spend some time at the SimSavvy web site."

Warbirdsim P-51D Mustang - Little Friends Posted: Saturday, July 9, 2011 - 1:14 North American's P-51D Mustang is brought to life in part 3 of WarBirdSim's series of this classic aircraft for FSX. Little Friends was the colloquial and affectionate label for the Escort Fighters as given by the Allied Bomber Pilots in World War II as they embarked on daylight raids to their targets, escorted by mainly US 8th Army Air Force Fighters of many types. The most commonly associated for this task is the P-51 Mustang. Because of its long range capabilities, large fuel tanks, and external fuel tanks, the P-51 was able to escort bombers deep into Germany.
In this the most detailed of their series on the P-51D Mustang, the only thing that is missing is the smell! Here the D model is modelled for the first time by Warbirdsim in its true original form. Featuring the most detailed Gunbay so far created for any Flight Simulator. All of the mounting brackets, ammunition feed chutes, link-ejector chutes, and shell ejector chutes for each individual 50-cal machine gun are accurately reproduced. For the rivet counters amongst us, even the number individual links in the ammunition feed chutes is correct. Also featured is a working 2 Stage Supercharger. Careful use of the power is needed; keep an eye on that manifold pressure and RPM, as the engine will quite literally blow up if due care and attention is not taken. 8 aircraft, Packard Merlin Sound Set, and a Full Livery Package are included.
