Thanks for the review. Like you I was one of those waiting anxiously for the upgrade. It works fine with Windows XP and like the original program it is a great upgrade. Now I can fly 767 PIC again. Great and thanks to Wilco!

How about PSS 777 and 747-400 under windows XP and FS 2002? any experience there good or bad?. I am sick and tired switching from FS 2000 to FS 2002 and Windows Me to windows XP to enjoy these three simulations which are the best with PS1.3 of Aerowinx.

I am a fan of 767 PIC and am happy that there is finally a patch for FS2002, but I think that caling that a review was a bit hasty. All that was mentioned was that fact that most of the changes are behind the scenes, except for the FMC changes. While I like and enjoy flying the package, how about mentioning some of the things that are problems. For instance the fact that the landing gear sinks into the runway and taxiway surfaces, as in the picture at the top of the page. Also the fact that the aircraft textures are still done as scenery textures and exterior frame rates are horrible should have been mentioned. On the good side, it also could have been mentioned that while exterior frame rates are terrible, panel frame rates are quite acceptable. Also there are config files released to allow users to use the Opensky 757-767 models with the PIC panel which will solve the exterior issue, and add things that should have been there in the first place like rolling wheels. 767 PIC is quite possibly the best panel simulator ever made for MSFS, but the included aircraft have always been lacking, and they were not improved much with the patch.

Basically i agree thats its a superb package to use and prolly the best money buys.
On my system some strange things happen:
1. when I try to start PIC in full screen it locks up and shuts FS2002.
2. I havent discovered how to import FS2002 or Navigator 4.51 flightplans under the Company Route as is possible in the FS2000 version.

I was very disappointed with my purchase of 767 PIC. Although the panel is excellent, the product keeps locking up my system, AMD 1300, windows 2000, running FS2002 with a GEO Force 2 64mb card (COMPAQ Presario 7000). The PIC "flights" lock up my computer, and I get the same problem when using "flights" that I saved. I also noticed that when restarting saved flights using 'cntrl;', the auto pilot configuration changes from the original flight configuration saved. To return to the original flight configuration saved, the flight has to be 'ended' and then selected again. It seems that this product locks up my computer about 65% of the time. This is a shame, because, when it does run, it runs beautiful. The auto-landings with localizer and glide-slope tracking, are just great. I bought the product through AVSIM and they have agreed to refund my purchase price. AVSIM is very professional, and I would not hesitate to purchase products from them in the future.

One Question and a few comments...How do I update or add data to the FMC, there is hardly anything programmed into it, No SIDs, No STARs. Can I update to a current AIRAC cycle FMC data?without programming each and every single waypoint, transition, and so on. The Dreamfleet 737 came with an FMC loaded with data and fully functional. When flying online and LA CTR tells you to take the Mitts 1 instead of the Civet 4 arrival, all you have to do with the DF 737 is delete one arrival and program another and exec., the same goes for Runway changes, etc. Im unhappy with the lack of functionality of the FMC due to the lack of data. I also cant find any "Adventures"relating to failures. I am, however, impressed at the 767 PIC ability to hold both the GS and LOC for a COMPLETE autoland,Just like FS 98, No other aircraft for FS 2002 can do that. Im still working with the program and would appreciate any feedback from more experienced 767 jockeys , Thanks, Dave
