Welcome to New Zealand, which brought the spectacular Middle Earth scenery of the epic blockbuster Lord Of The Rings trilogy. This rendition is from Red Baron Entertainment. 1. Response from David Wilson-Okamura on 9 Dec 2005 The reviewer's praise is well deserved. On price: if you can't go for the whole package, start with the Topo Scenery (the download is about $24 in US currency) and use the freeware mesh from Christian Stock's website http://geographx.co.nz/downloads.html. Its resolution is lower (76m vs. 19m), but it's still quite usable, and a big improvement over the default. While you're there, download the free landclass, too. 2. 3. Response from Ian Scott on 16 Dec 2005 As a result of reading your review I decided to purchase these products. Wow - my only regret is I didn't do it much sooner! This has got to be the best scenery add-on I have used for FS9. The improvement is spectacular and at last I feel like I am really seeing New Zealand in FS9 as I remember it in real life. If anyone is trying to decide if the price is worth it - trust me, it really is! 4. Response from Michael Martin on 20 Mar 2006 I purchased both the topo and mesh files from Red Baron Entertainment and have to agree its absolutely the best add-on that has ever been made for FS9. The installation is straight forward (if you follow the clearly written instructions) and I would never ever think of removing it now. If you want to experience NZ flying as real as it gets this is a must have add-on. 5. Response from Tom Delane on 25 May 2006 Question: Is there any compatibility problems with other scenery add on like Birdseye and Ultimate USA?? Respond to this article: |
