Hello dear author, Maybe you should try to fly and land her on "low idle" condition (you can see you´re flying on "high" from your various posted panel-screenshots), then you will get her down on nearly every runway in the world, yes and you can do that with Aeroworx´s B200, too!
This is a plane where you can´t just sit in and fly her atonce without knowing about the real thing, it is no stock airplane in the default FS9.
So the "dramatic" point in the review of beeing not able to land her on short fields, what the AWX B200 really will do shows your lack of information how to handle her the right way in the right time ... sorry to say that.
The people allways claim a FS-addon to have it as real and close to the real thing as possible and if they get then what they demanded they can´t handle it and call it a "failure".
I wished in this case to have a little bit more experienced personal to review the B200 as we have an ultimative simulated advanced product here.
And one last thing, a quick and short look through the Aeroworx-Forum could have solved much of the "Problems" you get due to some lack of handling her correct. Many called her first "failurized" and then they had to learn from various realworld B200 pilots that she simply flies that way and is modelled in many many aspects as close as FS9 will ever allow.
The spoken "Patch Version 2" might not fix your "problems" if you still demand a professional addon to fly like the default Be350.
I am sorry to read these lines, written from somebody unexperienced in your review that might destroy a very good addon when you keep in mind how famous Avsim.com is todays.
I am sorry and OVER.
Kind regards, ALF [Respond to this Article] [Return to Articles List]

Ha, forgot one other serious point, maybe simply try to turn on the inverter and your torque will be there, funny heh? ... another thing that seems for you to be a failure isn´t it?
You can find the inverter to be turned on in the checklist ... just read it!
How sad :-/.

I have to agree with Alf. One thing I disagree with the author on is the Maintaince Module, the people who are not the "100%" realism type may not use the module that much and FFS has included a option in there to not have failures or wear, however, I am sure there are many that do in fact use it all the time, I am one of them, I will check the hours on the engines, props, and airframe as well as the oil quanity etc. before every flight. I think I speak for most when I say that you can't judge the add-on til you learn everything you can about how the add-on was desgined to feel and act, compared to the real thing then fly it to the degree in which the developers intended. I'm sorry to see a great addon get hit by someone who hasn't looked, used, and reviewed the addon from head to toe.

I think perhaps you should have learned more about the systems before flying as well as use the checklists. It's a fine aircraft to fly. [Respond to this Article] [Return to Articles List]
