Do you have comments or suggestions about this mini-review?

Just a quick comment on the Kodiak Island series, I too find this a really great scenery add-on but for the Landers Look out strip, I was able to ut a lightly loaded 172SP into the strip and I was also able to leave without hitting a tree. Great Scenery and a joy to fly

Hi Bear,
are the Top 5 each week picked from MS FS addons only, or are addons from other flightsims screened, too?
I was just wondering, because I have yet to find a review for an X-Plane or Fly! or FUIII addon. Certainly more FS uploads are produced, but there are quite a few other quality uploads out there.
If this is MSFS only, please state so on the review pages.

Regards,
Norm

Once again, I will say that Bear is not the person to do reviews of FLY addons. This opinion is based on the many comments of his that I have read on the FLY forum. He is negatively biased!

Um...about the Sikorsky CH53 review...I do much doubt that there is anything capable of withstanding a 450 feet per *** second *** landing -- that would be about 306 mph, which THAT bird cannot do even in level flight :-)

Also, I notice in the Pavlov's Pass section the following: "Be careful of the rather tall radio tower during any flybys thought!" Had the author given the sentence some "thought", "though", he doubtless would have realized his though-less behavior :-D

Doesn't anyone proofread these before publication?

Also, regardless of what *they* might be saying in the forums, a perusal of Bear's recent articles themselves (particularly this one) fails to reveal to ME any negative bias.

SMC,

Ahhh....yea...hmmmm, what can I say, I unfortunately noticed those two errors myself, but only after they had been posted! (Someone does re-read these before they are posted, but they missed those errors also) I do hope though that most individuals are capable of realizing the mistakes (one of which was a mere typo). Not intending to sound like I'm making an excuse, but I did write these very late at night (or very early in the morning, depending on your point of view) and I am more likely to make those kinds of simple mistakes, under those conditions. My apologies for any confusion I may have caused!

Steve (Bear) Cartwright

P.S. Oh..yea, thanks for the positive vote of confidence on my ability to provide mini-reviews of files for flightsims other than just FS2000!
