According to Bear the CV-440 (Steve Mathis, Greg Pepper, Tom Gibson) download comes as a complete package, including 2D panel. That is actually not the case. No 2D panel included in this download, uses default C182 panel.

Great choices as usual Bear. The Fleet biplane is a hoot to fly around and the Convairs are as good as they get. I really like the virtual cockpits on both of them. It makes flying them a much more immersive experience.

Hermann,

I re-downloaded both files and installed them and I had the custom 2D panel appear, same as noted in my mini-review and not the C182 default panel you noted. Further investigation showed that the panel.cfg file (in both the CV-440 and R4Y1 downloads) is alias to "340panel" which I had downloaded from http://www.calclassic.com some time ago. An in-depth reading of the supplied "readme" file for these new downloads also recommends doing this exact same thing as I apparently had done with a prior download of the Convair series of aircraft from this group.

This is an excellent portrayal of the Twin Pioneer. I worked at Scottish Aviation around the time it was being built and I was delighted to find this File
