Barry HAS done a great job helping us at TaxiwaySigns.com...BUT...actually, I'm the creator of the web application and the volunteer programs (designer and beta). I really don't want to detract from Barry though. He has done a fabulous job volunteering as a scenery designer and beta tester.

Bear,
A person of your knowledge needs to do more reasearch when it comes to giving credit to some people.
Prime example is the Taxiwaysigns.com project which you created Barry for spearheading the project. Thomas Lin has been working harder than anyone I have known in this hobby to bring us something great. Next time give the credit to the proper person.

Thomas,
I do appologize for the error in giving credit for the files titled TaxiwaySigns.com, but frankly it would be helpful (to me and any others looking for whom to give credit) that all of the names of the individuals involved be listed in the readme file. The only name listed in the readme files for any of the TaxiwaySigns files is that of Barry Guttormson, so this kind of error or mistake could be easily made.
The only reference to whom designed these excellent signs are as follows (taken directly from the readme file):
"Scenery designed by Barry Guttormson."
&
"This scenery and all files included with it are copyrighted.(c) 2002 by TaxiwaySigns.com and Barry Guttormson"
So, I think you can see how easy it was for me to error in giving credit!

I see that Thomas contacted you about taxiwaysigns ... so I will not vent. Barry is a great contributor, but without Thomas and many others those taxiways wouldnt be here now...
giving credit could be simply by stating taxiways.com, the names are listed there anyway if someone happens to be interested...
just my 2cents
..mistakes do happen, we r human after all..
but be careful next time :)
