Rares,

My mini-reviews (Bear Picks) are ONLY of files that have been uploaded into the AVSIM Library. All other files are handled by our regular review staff on an individual basis.

Good review. How can I get a copy of Mike Stone's Delta L-1011s airfile.

Thanks,
Carlton

Carlton,

Good point! Just go to the AVSIM library and lookup the file name: sl10112.zip for Mike Stone's original L-1011 500 v2 pack! For additional liveries, just do a search (extended) for any repaints.

Hi :)

Today I downloaded several aircrafts in zipped files from your site.

One zipped file, however, did not work when I extracted it into my Flight Sim/Aircraft folder: Firefox
by Richard Martin Hulme, firefoxfull.zip uploaded 16-Sept-2002, 7860Kb, FS2002 Aircraft.

With all the other aircrafts, I simply unzipped them into the aircraft folder of my game, and when I started up the game I could see them in the list of aircrafts.

With the Firefox aircraft, the file is unzipped automatically in the Aircraft folder, under “Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002", instead of directly under a file with its own name in the Aircraft folder.

When I started my game, the Firefox aircraft wasn’t there, either under this name or in subfolders of other aircraft names.

I then moved the “FS2002" file directly into the “Aircraft” folder, and started up the game again, to see if it would work, which it didn’t.

Do you have any suggestions for how to get this aircraft to be functional in the Flight Sim game? I’d love to hear about any suggestions you might have.

Thanks,
D. Paris
