Do you have comments or suggestions about this Part 2 installment?

Okay, now I'm disappointed in you. The cockpit interiors and flight dynamics are, by general concensus, two of the worst aspects of the game. Yet the review paints them in an entirely positive light.

Sorry fellas, I was willing to stand up and defend your take on the first installment of this multi-part review, but if you're unwilling or unable to critique the worst aspects of the game, what's the point?

I agree. The review by AVSIM must have been done in the Twilight Zone. A summary based on my experience: buggy, slow, a real system hog, no real sense of speed or excitement, planes' appearance is not very good, flight models are so so, no compatability with CFS2 or FS2002. Product just seems unfinished.

It's a terrible disappointment. Definietely don't buy it unless a patch becomes available to remedy most of the deficiencies. Check out user reviews at Amazon.com - overall rating is 2.5 out of 5.

IL-2 wins this one hands down.

My computer: P4 2.4Ghz, 1Gig memory, Geforce4 Ti4600 graphics card.

How much time did you actually spend on this masterpiece? First Officer postion? Sitting backwards as a bomber (bombadier) in the B-25? Gunners can control the aircraft? What sim are you reviewing? The sounds are fantastic? Most are the same friggin sounds from CFS2!! Or did you ever play that one? And you might brush up on your aircraft. The screen shot you have labeled as a Brit B-25 is actually a U.S. B-26. And the one labeled as a Spitfire (you know, a British plane) is actually a Typhoon (you know, a British plane). And no mention of stutters, pauses, or just a resource hog in general? For God's sake Avsim, get someone who knows what they are talking about, and give us a real review. And spare us the history lesson.

Coneman, thanks for the 'heads up'--I should have caught those errors in the screenshot captions during editing; I've corrected them. And to all who commented on the quality (or lack thereof) of the aircraft, and especially the cockpits, remember that Pardave said, "In the aircraft/panel section, CFS3 hit the target in some areas, and completely missed it in other areas." Finally, you haven't seen the whole picture yet, with our rating which appears in this Sunday's final installment.
