Vorona Aviation

| We are a virtual airline based on the island of Madagascar and fly domestically as well as internationally. Our international routes link us to the African mainland, Europe, Asia and North America. Our domestic routes carry holidaymakers to resorts all over the island, as well as ferrying scientists researching the unique wildlife for which Madagascar is famous. Our mission at Vorona is simple. We want you to enjoy your flying - to us, this is the primary purpose of a virtual airline. You can be as realistic (or not) in your approach as you like. We have 2 types of route available - domestic and international. Domestic flying in Madagascar is often very much like bush flying and is generally VFR (Visual Flight Rules). International flights are unsurprisingly IFR (Instrument Flight Rules). This unique diversity allows us to cater for both types of simulator pilot. In short, we can offer you:- A choice of over 200 International and Domestic flights every week to suit your taste (or use our random flight generator)- Hand-painted liveries for all our aircraft- Custom-built hangars for all our international destinations- Custom-built local Madagascan airports for all our domestic destinations- A unique ranking system - the more hours you clock up, the higher your ranking!- Links to third party scenery and meshes to enhance your experience- Friendly community forums- Hand-built AI traffic that fills the skies and airports with Vorona Aviation aircraft!- An airline that really listens to its pilots - if you want something added and it seems like a good idea to us, we'll add it!Come and join us in the most unspoilt and mysterious place on Earth - sign up and start flying today!

We offer scheduled runs to six Texas cities, carry mail out of our county (Brewster), and fly the occasional charter when Jessie Lyne, our aircraft, is available. We have one plane and offer twelve flights a week. We close on Mondays so that our pilot can have a day to sip back longnecks at the local cantina. Things are pretty informal here, but that's the way we like it. Leave the formality to the big dogs...come check us out!

WestWind Airlines
(http://www.flywestwind.com/)
|
| WestWind Airlines (WWA), founded in 1996, is structured like a real world airline providing passenger and cargo service through hubs in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia. WestWind has a large aircraft fleet. Pilots join a hub and normally fly the hub’s routes. WestWind pilots may fly routes of all WestWind hubs as well as all cargo and charter flights. Route selection is at pilot’s discretion and may be flown off or online. Active pilots log at least one hour of flight time monthly. Advancement through pilot categories is based on hours logged. In association with category levels, pilots may fly advanced aircraft by independently flying qualifying routines to earn aircraft type ratings. A number of WestWind captains are real world private or commercial airline pilots. Some WWA virtual pilots go on to realize a dream and take to the air for real. WestWind pilots have a passion for aviation and an appetite for improving flight skills. New pilots learn basic flight skills from the MS Flight Simulator built in flight lessons, optional flights, and reference information. The WWA website has an Advanced Pilot Training Section with highly informative articles. Pilots also exchange advice via the WWA Forum or during online WWA group flights where pilots get to know one another, log stick time, and fly with live near real world air traffic control.
