Overland 777-200ER/777-300ER and PSS Panel Merge (Version 1)

Overland Boeing 777-300ER and PSS Panel Merge using PSS FDE (Version 1)Copyright ©2008 - Tri Wasono ===============================================================I would like to share my work and effort merging the Overland (SMS) Boeing 777-300ER model with PSS Panel. Please use the merge at your own risk, since both Overland and PSS do not support for merged products.1. First, you should copy the original PSSB773ER-GE.air and Aircraft.cfg file from your PSS Boeing 777-300ER folder into Overland 773ER aircraft folder. 2. Modify the panel section in your Overland folder and alias it to PSS panel (PSSB77704panel). (just like panel.cfg file in the original PSS 777-300ER) 3. Open and edit the previously copied Aircraft.cfg file. Follow these instructions: - Modify the "fltsim" section in your favorite aircraft repaint. Make sure the "title" tag prefix, so the title should be started with "PSS Boeing 777-300ER"for example:================================================================title=PSS Boeing 777-300ER Cathay Pacific================================================================- Still in "fltsim" section, make sure the "sim" tag is like this: (refer to PSS air If anyone want PSS gauges shown on the Overland Virtual Cockpit, here is my VC panel section configuration:1. Replace all VC section within the PSS panel with the one from Overland panel. (don't forget to backup first)2. He just posted the merge for the 300/200.Nice job Tri, Although I've never had to have the PSS tag in the Title=Mine usually runs like title=Singapore Airlines B777-212 '9V-SYA'The only one I've ever noticed you need it in is the A330-A340 merges.But Great Job.

I really like using the SMS 777 with the PSS panel. It's a nice model. Thanks Tri! Now, I wish I could figure out how to tame the thrust. Taking off out of KSEA, I was able to take off, do a loop, and then land. I'm pretty sure an overloaded 777 (I was 17 lbs over) wouldn't be able to do this. It turns like a train, but goes vertical like a fighter. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to fix this rocket trust issue?Thanks,Mike Franks

Download UTOPIA (utopia12.zip) and use Derated Thrust departures. Works like a charm.

I really like using the SMS 777 with the PSS panel. It's a nice model. Thanks Tri! Now, I wish I could figure out how to tame the thrust. Maybe edit the "static_thrust" under "turbine_engine_data" to the real specified 777 thrust. Might work...Derated thrust settings done via FMC
