Hi Christos,

I don't use FSX anymore but I believe you could do that on your Controls // Buttons and Keys // (Autopilot master on/off, for example) and choose New Assignment option.

Is there a key for Autothrottle off?

How do you deactivate the A/T in the MD-11? (Except the button on the throttle sides).

Hi
It has been a while since I flew her but you can also edit the PMDG_MD11_kbd.ini file in the PMDG folder of FSX and look (or add) for the following entry (this is an old one of mine

so you may want different key combinations)….

[Throttles]
Disengage ATS=Ctrl+F5
Overboost Bar=Ctrl+F6
GA Button=Ctrl+Shift+M

I hope it helps.

The standard FSX functions for AP and AT work fine. Or if you're using FSUIPC for everything, these are "AP master" and "Auto throttle arm".

Don't know if this helps you as I use FS9, but I programmed a FSUIPC mouse-macro to simulate the mouse click on the A/T disconnect switch on the throttles. I then assign that macro to a joystick button.

A simpler method would be to follow molleh's advice.
