FS2crew panel not visible

Recommended Posts

Hello!

My friend just bought FS2Crew for NGX (rebooted) and installed with button control. Everything looks ok, UAC disabled, status info - all ok, it is enabled in configurator and so on.
Problem is - the panel itself is not visible, just a white square around it. I tried to disable/enable it again, but that did not help. Only way to make it visible is to locate it on screen un Undock Window. However It looks like it has same problem with secondary panel. As soon as i "dock" the window back, it becomes invisible again.

This is on P3D latest version. I did not find anything related in the manual.

Hi,

How many Windows are listed in the section [Window Titles] of the panel config?

Romain, unfortunately I am not that very familiar with P3D menus and not sure this is the answer, but please look at the attached screenshots!

In the first picture I marked 2 symbols that appear to be FS2Crew related, because he never saw these before.

Hi,

I'm not in front of my computer right now to check that but aren't these icons from the Nvidia shadowplay? It looks similar (by memory).

As for the number of windows listed, can you post your panel.cfg here (go to your P3D folder, then simobject > aircraft folder > panel folder) ? I will check if I can see anything wrong with.

Yes, You are right - those are ShadowPlay icons. I will start with disconnecting it, maybe this will solve the FS2Crew problem as well.

Seems the problem has a different source. I noticed that no 2D display is showing up. For example - if I click on ND display in VC, that display goes blank, but no 2D display is being shown.

I see? I got that issue to but I need to remember what was the cause and how I solved it, sorry.

I'll be back if I found back.

Haha, we found the problem. It was 2D transparency set to 100%.

Anyway, thank you for trying to help and explanation about nVidia SP!
