Addon to FS2002 Default scenery. FS2000 users should download earlier version also available below.

Here you will find enhancements to 36 small airfields, heliports and secondary airports that were left abandoned by MS. Some aprons although designed by MS, they were not visible. I redesigned them. Basic ASD buildings, Trees, apron signs, imroved runways and objects added so as to increase the sense of "scale" in areas where MS had only one simple runway in the middle of nowhere ! Custom objects added are very few like perimeter fence and a Greek Flag.

The only middle size (not small) airfields you will find enhanced in this package are a few selected ones with dangerous approaches and surrounding terrain. These are Samos LGSM ,Skiros AFB LGSY Ioannina LGIO and new Sitia LGST. Tanagra AFB near Athens has also been included since it now houses Athens GA traffic (LGMR & LGAT closed permanently).

The enhancements are based on real flight experience, pilot's reports and aerial pictures.

This scenery was made to compliment the "Greek Mesh Terrain (SouthEast)" scenery by Babis Perivolas.

It will run without it (compatible with default MS) but if you do not install's Babi's excellent mesh scenery you've lost all that its worth Approach & Enroute Charts available at the "Aeronautical Data" of Hellenic vACC

Unzip them in the main TEXTURE folder of FS.

[ FS2004 Compatibility ]   -NEW-

At present the Greek Airfields scenery is not fully compatible with FS2004. The reason is explained in this forum thread. The only thing you can do for Greek Airfields in FS2004 is have the above scenery installed according to FS2002 graf3.zip instructions and remove the files not compatible with FS2004.

The .bgl files that are compatible with FS2004 are the following :
