The above image is of the A320 MCDU with some hardware in place. Here I am taking the
caps from some switches I finally found locally and checking them for fit. This MCDU
had to have the openings slightly adjusted to fit the caps. The Round switches are on order and
I only need to source the small top 12 LSK switches. Should be no problem. the plan now is to use the decals
that we have been using on the Standard Kits for the lettering on this switch. Other than that we can explore engraving
but the caps are actually concaved on the tops which might make it tough. Below you can see the same
setup being checked on a B777 kit I am doing up for A.M. over in Germany.
Below I show a closeup of the Miyama switches I will be using throughout the Flightdeck.

The above shot is a closeup of the Miyama type switches that can be used in
numerous places throughout the NOVA Series A320 and 340 kits. EFIF,FCU, RMP, ACP
ECAM Warning, etc... These switches are going to help so much.

For those of you who having been asking about the B737NG kits here is a shot of the
first NOVA series NG Pedestal fresh from the engravers. This one was customed ordered
and I will be sure to post links to this project as it goes further along. Thanks to Patrick for his
patience on this job! These panels are not even rear painted yet so they will really look slick soon enough!

Above you can see the glare parts for the first B737NG kit. The color was custom ordered to match
some existing components. The NOVA series NG kit will be a "Slate" color which I am told is
a great match to the real aircraft. If you look closely you can actually see the "PLEXI BACKPLATE" I have been describing.
This one wil lsit behind the NOVA Panel adding a great deal of strength, Hold the Hardware as well as
allow light to shine right through to the lettering. Starting to make sense I think!! (The plexi parts are available with NOVA Panel orders)
Once I get my Dutch friends NG kit to him I have ot focus on the B777. The CRJ and
even a surprise type!!! (Hint: Not an Airliner, Not a Biz Jet!)

Another quick shot of some of the Main Panel parts for the NG. If you look closely at the landing
gear cover plate you can see that I have made provisions for six clear spots for indication.
I wil be making available some sticker kits to use throughout the NG Flightdeck. Unlike the A320
there are numerous areas where "INDICATORS" are used and these decals will help the builder
to get that looking correctly with or without the actual holders.
