Second look at the "Fire" warning annunciators for our overhead. Steve came up with a really smart way to get them red. Automotive Lens Repair Kit. Used for fixing damaged brake lights. This material is a difuser by nature and sticks forever! I designed each unit to house 6 LEDs. I need to make another piece to let the LEDs do their magic. Next we paint our trim parts red and mount.

Some more samples of B737NG Decals. These are primarily for the Overhead Gauges. This is actually two sets.

Steve and Ron line up the Captain's Seat. These seats are really adjustable. With that and the rudder pedals being adjustable as well its a little tricky deciding on the perfect spot.

Steve eyes the positioning one more time. The joke around here is that Steve and Ron practice everything on the Captain's side of the sim (my side of course!) prior to doing and installations on the FO side (their side of course!) Basic rul of thumb is if you want to fly in this sim ask for the right seat!

I promised few shots with the sim on and the scenery showing. Need alot more practice on capturing this sort of pic. I will have to get a better camera over here. Maybe a better projector too! (Let a guy dream huh?

Its nice having the sim fired up again. We have been able to do some flying with only two keyboards in the sim. One of the nice things about the Magenta suite is the FCU (MCP for you Boeing guys) can practically run all the elements that are needed. I need the other keyboard only until I wire up a few things. We are awaiting our interface setup that Brent is working on for us and will be adding more functionality soon enough. Steve, Ron and I were working out more Thrust Lever issues (Throttles for you Boeing folk!). Looking very promising. We think we have some very realistic looking thrust levers coming soon as well. Things are looking up!
