this step follows after you have build your main Panel section. you can find a lot of tips for this steps in the bulding tips. Because i did not have any dimensions, the first thing i have done, was picking up a lot of Pictures of the A320 front. i downloaded several pictures ,insideviews and outsideviews from airliners net. there are several pictures where you can see also instrument panel from the outsideview. then i printed out the area of the windows.On that printings i measured all angles and dimensions and tried to compare to the dimensions of the panels on the pictures. With the dimensions of my original panel setup i could calculate the dimensions and draw my own construction picture.

i took wood parts 44mmx 44mm for this work,so that it can carry the overhead later. first i build a base in the middle part of the panelbackside, wihch will hold the center windowsframe.

because the outer frames are a little bit in front and beside of the mainpanel. i took several small pieces of wood to come into the right position.

Then i attatched the upper windowsframes.

To get an holding point for the rear part of the overhead i added also the second window on the left side. after building the overheadframing, there is an article about that here also, i put this frame on the top of the windows. Then i tried to find out the height for the back of the overheadframe. i decided to put the lover end of the frame 163 cm over the floor. After adjusting it exactly to the middle, i took some metal angels and scrued everythimg together.

some days after i had finished this i got dimensions of an original window and i was surprised that my dimensions are only 1 until 2cm away from the originals. i will have to add the lower windows frames as well as some wood as the ceiling. but  now it is an impressive sight with the NOVA Overhead Panels above my head..
