FS2002/Paint Shop
Pro Tutorial last update 15th December
2001

Mark Kiszkie has done a great job on, I think, the first
ever tutorial for FS2002. This is a great introduction into
converting the default FS2002 textures, painting them in Paint
Shop Pro and converting them back. Mark has kindly allowed
me to put his tutorial on my site. I have edited it a little
but all the work is Marks. You can download an HTML version
if you wish for viewing off line.

This is my tutorial based around Paint Shop Pro version 6.02.
(PSP) Not only do I tell you how to paint your aircraft but
I will be giving you tips on how to get permission to paint
other peoples aircraft, converting textures, changing file
names using hex converters and so on. I am trying to cover
the whole aspect of painting and not just using PSP

Fireworks
Tutorial last update 16th September 2001

The one that started it all. This is one of the best tutorials
that I have had the pleasure of viewing and indeed using. It
was originally on Simon Jamie's own web-site but, when he was
no longer able to maintain it, I said I would take it over.
Most of the work is still Simons and really all the credit should
go to him. I have updated the pages and intend to add lots more
to it.

Beginners Tutorial
Paint Shop Pro last
update 8th July 2001

When Walt Barrett contacted me to say he had a basic tutorial.
Well why not share it! He was more than happy to give back a
little something to help others. All this work is Walt's own.
I have not checked it for accuracy or content. As always let
me know what you think of it or if it needs any work. Thanks
Walt.

Gryphon Aviation Link: This is the readme for the *.psp
source files for our P-38L-5-LO (that can be downloaded in our
CFS2 Section
) and describes the "Layering" technique. There is some good
info here if you don't want to D/L the PSP files themselves.

Drawing
Rivets and Lines with Paint Shop Pro last
update 16th July 2001
Gryphon Aviation Link: A technique for making Rivets
and Lines using Paint Shop Pro. Using the "Layering" technique,
repaints can be quickly produced once the first is done.
Night Light Effects For FS2000 is a tutorial, explaining how
to add night light effects to FS2000 aircraft. Requires M98toBgl
V3.40, Scasm 2.39 and Source2mdl. I would consider this one
to be an advanced tutorial but please don't be put off. Follow
the instructions and give it a go.
