New in version 2.02:
TeamSpeak voice servers used by IVAO are supported in displaying channel/users information and joining channels both in the ServInfo application the the ServInfo gauge.
VATSIM prefiled flights (users that have prefiled a FP but have not yet connected to the network) are optionally included in all tabular displays indicated by a dark yellow arrow symbol
IVAO and FPI ATC booking systems information can be displayed in ServInfo through pre-configured custom network buttons, the same way as VATSIM's EUROBOOK
Bug Fixes :
  • Fixed bug that was preventing retrieval of country/region or partial code NOAA requests
  • Fixed problem with channel information display with the AVSIM RW voice server
  • Other minor bug fixes

An interim update of ServInfo :
  • Clicking on a controller row brings up an ATC Details Window, displaying the controller's ATIS and RW channel details
  • When FS is running, from the ATC facilities within range menu that is activated from the tray icon ServInfo can either tune to the COM1 frequency or join the controllers RW channel or both. Also the controllers ATIS can be displayed from this menu
  • On all the controllers sections of ServInfo's pages an icon is added indicating for each ATC position whether it uses voice or not as determined by the controllers ATIS
  • Controllers with "Instructor" level also identified with an icon (yellow star)
  • Additions and corrections to the ServInfo database. Additional airlines and their logos added

An interim update of ServInfo :
  • Airline names & logos (r/w or virtual) displayed in the flight details window.
  • Aircraft registration countries and flags displayed in the flight details window

  • When FS is running option to notify for user defined selected ATC positions with messages within the FS window or with pop-up windows

An interim update of ServInfo :

  • New FIR/ARTCC details page added, along with drop-down list, ICAO code input box and customizable buttons, to monitor ATC and flights for any specific FIR or ARTCC for a country
  • CTR positions are now included in the "Airports Details" page
  • Added to the flight details window any comments the pilot has submitted with his flight plan
  • The data servers list can be retrieved by a locally cached file in the case of connection problems

A final ServInfo release including all the new features introduced in beta versions 1.12 and 1.13  plus some more improvements and final touches:
  • RW channel names related to ATC positions in "RW Voice Servers" page
  • Added a row of "airport buttons" below country buttons
  • Added button that optimizes column widths to the current window width
  • Additional options in the display preferences (size, position, column widths and page to display at startup, show/hide robot pilots)
  • In flight details window, ICAO code of closest airport is displayed
  • During data loading displays do not freeze
  • Added abort button on the METAR window

An interim update of ServInfo :
  • Options for automatic loading of data at start-up and in predefined time intervals. Reloading options can be set depending on ServInfo display status. RW data can also be optionally automatically reloaded
  • ServInfo now supports any network besides SATCO and IVAO, that uses the SB/PC environment. The parameters and an image icon for such a network can be set from the "options" menu
  • Enhancements on the METAR reports window: Request METARs for multiple stations separated by "/", select the source from which the METARs are retrieved (SATCO, IVAO or NOAA), toolbar added including "clear", "find", "sort", "top", "bottom" and "copy to clipboard" buttons, the METAR window can be accessed from a new button on the main toolbar
  • A bug that might have caused ServInfo to occasionally read data from the cache has been fixed
  • A few corrections in the servinfo.dat file were made (added Padova Centre - LIPP and HKG alias for Hong Kong)
version 1.12 (May 2001)
An interim update of ServInfo :
  • The network servers IP addresses displayed on the network servers page and can be exported to an ipaddr.txt file ready for use with SquawkBox or ProController
  • ServInfo can be minimized as an icon on the system tray and be handled from there by a right-click pop-up menu enabling loading or refreshing of data without having to switch windows
  • From the "airport details" page you can request a METAR report for the selected airport
  • METAR menu added on the main menu bar allowing the request of METAR reports for the selected airport, for any airport by ICAO code, or for the selected country (list for all stations in the country). METAR reports appear in a separate window which can float minimized on your desktop for easy reference. These reports are retrieved directly from the SATCO or IVAO servers (once more, thanks to Roberto and Erwin that made this possible)
  • For each country that is assigned a button you can also specify a default airport in the "Customize Country Buttons" option
  • RW voice servers details are no more read by the servinfo.dat file but are downloaded along with the rest data. Changes in existing servers IP addresses or addition of new servers will be automatically updated
  • Added option to have the RW display tree either fully expanded or collapsed when RW information is loaded or refreshed
  • Minor bugs fixed :
    • RW drop-down menu, not to deselect, making the Refresh button invalid when the SATCO or IVAO buttons are pressed
    • Problems with the use of large fonts: In the flight details display the "estimated time..." header line was overlapping with other lines. The titles on the tool bar were truncated. Part of the flight details display was outside of the screen when positioned on the right.
    • In the flight details display the color now is the same everywhere when other than the standard Windows color schemes are used (was part silver, part the current window scheme color)
    • In the pilots with no flight plan display the airports country is shown in the country column and thus the list can be sorted by country
    • Access violation error showing up when ServInfo contains no data and the data servers locator file downloading is interrupted
  • Updates in the servinfo.dat file :
    • Corrected 3 airports incorrectly showing as Czech instead of Slovak and added 8 more airports of the Slovak Republic (thanks to Peter Rak for providing the information)
    • French control positions updated. Added Reims FIR and upper space (>FL245) facilities (thanks to Gilles Saulais)
    • Added 28 more German airports, including 14 military airfields with ETxx ICAO codes (thanks to Siegfried Gohlke)
version 1.10 (April 2001)
The first major update of ServInfo. New features include :
  • The data retrieval method has changed completely (use of data servers instead of "who is on-line" web page). Many thanks to Roberto Bazzano of SATSERV and Erwin Lion of IVAN for their help
  • Previous data retrieval method is preserved only as an alternative when errors occur
  • Outdated data are recognized and alternative choices are presented
  • ServInfo now works for both the SATCO and IVAO networks
  • Flight status icons added at the displays (airborne, departing, landed, no flight plan)
  • Supervisor and administrator indicators at controllers callsigns
  • Detailed flight information can be displayed in a separate window
