How Do I Install Active Sky Next Into Prepar3D V3

Recommended Posts

No problem Fran.

Yes, If you have Prepar3D saved in Program Files(x86)  this will be the correct Path to Install ASConnect

What Version of Active Sky Next do you currently have ?

For example:  The latest Whole Version is B5921 in Blue,  This Version is a complete Install  "takes seconds"  of Active Sky Next.  If you have an older Version you can download the Update In Redand this Update will bring you to the latest Version, B5921

Personally i will always download the latest Whole version and Install that one.   But If you choose to Update your old Version to the latest Version, just Download the update Red

Extract the file, Right Click,  run as administrator and follow the promps.

======================================

The Update Installer will Automatically find your Active Sky Next Install Location.  When the Update has finished you will be greeted with the ASConnect window.

Just make sure you Install the ASConnect into your Prepar3D folder

You also can Manually install  ASConnect by going here   ► Computer  ► Your Install Location   ►  Active Sky Next  ►  ASNext_P3D  ► ASConnect_P3D_Install.exe

Right Click on ASConnect_P3D_Install.exe and Click Run as administrator

Yes, B6010 was just posted which replaces B6004.  There was a small issue related to P3D 2.5 compatibility.

This does not pop up with me. It automatically jumps to install, and I cant select the correct folder.

Hello CasperHvid

Just to confirm,  This is Prepar3D v3 and you are Installing Active Sky Next Yes ?

Check your core Prepar3D folder do you see an AS folder in there ?

Can you launch Active Sky Next ?  Then launch Prepar3D does the ASN control panel say  "Prepar3D is connected"
