What's new for this
year? The venue is the San Diego Aerospace Museum and was selected
specifically for its amazing aviation displays and its convention
facilities. We will be located in the center section of the Museum,
in the Pavillion of Flight, a 22,000 sq. ft. exhibit space. This
fully enclosed area houses a 1928 Ford Tri-Motor passenger plane,
in Pan American Airways colors, and a Vietnam-era Huey Cobra helicopter
gunship. These legends come alive with striking effect under the
fabric and metal domed cover of the Pavilion of Flight during night-time
dinners and special events.
Setup will begin at
1:00 pm on Friday, the 16th of September. Tear down will commence
at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday the 18th. As with all previous years, AVSIM
will host an exhibitor's and VIP lounge the entire weekend.
