The AVSIM Partnership Program
What is the AVSIM
Partnership Program? Simply stated, it is our effort to bring
together the best in the community under one umbrella and location,
where you, the avid simmer, can freely access them. It is more than
a "links" page. Our Partners represent the best in their
categories of contributions to the community, and are
whole-heartedly supported by AVSIM in whatever manner is necessary
to provide you the best in service and support. For example, we
provide our Partners with web space, database services, forums, and
much more as needed, to bring you their products and services. And
we provide those features at no charge to our Partners or to you.
Our philosophy behind the Partnership Program is is very simple: by
providing linkage, resources and visibility for our Partners, we are
all better able to serve the simming community.
We don't ask our
Partners to paste huge AVSIM banners on their sites, nor do we ask
Partners to continuously bombard you with propaganda regarding AVSIM
or other Partners. We don't make money from our Partners, and we
don't worry about advertising revenue generated from their presence.
We don't add JAVA encoding to their pages to keep you in our frame,
and we don't restrict who they can or cannot link to. We simply ask
them to continue to provide you the best that they can in whatever
they do. We don't dictate to them how to run their site or produce
an add-on for you; after all, they became Partners because they are
good at what they do... Who are we to tell them how to do it
better?
How do you become a
Partner? The answer is quite simple... Be the best in what you do
for the simming community and demand that same excellence from those
that you associate with. If you would like to have us consider you
for Partnership, you can fill out an
application form found here. We will contact you regarding
your potential Partnership with AVSIM.
