AVSIM Online is pleased to announce our 2002 Conference and Exhibition to be held on September 13th, 14th and 15th at the Horizon's Casino and Hotel, located in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Straddling the Nevada/California border along the crests of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, the South Lake Tahoe area offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the nation along with a host of year-round recreational options.

The conference will feature a full exhibition hall, the presentation of papers on flight simming as well as a cocktail part on Friday night and an awards dinner on Saturday night. In addition, we will be offering conference attendees an opportunity to attend the Reno Air Races on Friday September 13th. Reno is just a short, stunning, drive from the Tahoe. It is an opportunity any aviation enthusiast will find hard to resist. A day of watching some of the best pilots in the world streak around a course set above this beautiful area in some of the finest high-performance aircraft around, is not something one gets to see very often.
