Flight Gear is a community-wide program where many have volunteered their efforts to develop the next great flight simulation system. The Flight Gear development team uses an open architecture model, constructed with existing and easily-obtainable compilers and development tools. This effort has the singular goal of developing the next generation sim, and you can participate.
