  1. Wow it's been some time since i've seen this thread. And so much has changed meanwhile. Now a senior software developer (Angular specialist) and a Tech Lead at a major electric company in Portugal. Also in charge of some MVP products.
  2. My favourite is the McDonnell-Douglas MD-11. There's nothing like it.
  3. It's the only "heavy" i use (along with the A300) and unlike most i don't use it for 1h flights. In a week i can put 40 hours on it, not that i have to justify anything. I am actually kind of embarassed to have over 26k hours logged online even though i don't spend all that time in front of the PC. Also, on a sidenote, the A310 has been out for way more than a year.
  4. It never crashed for me, i have well over 3000 hours on it. I mean NEVER.
  5. Yep, some people just can't see it. My wife doesn't see a difference between 30 and 144 (my monitor's max) and i was surprised she couldn't see what was so obvious to me "right there in your face" lol.
  6. VERY noticeable. I can also see if something is running at 60 or much more (say 90 or 120). If three monitors are running the same program at 30, 60 and 90 fps i can see differences between them. Now if you ask me if i can see the difference between 90 and 120... Probably not, that's way way harder for me. The higher the FPS, the bigger jump is required for me to notice anything.
  7. DLSS is a mess. TAA all the way, the higher quality is very noticeable.
  8. Ok ok i have exaggerated a bit on the 787, my bad. But please wait for the MD-11 to come out, i have high hopes it'll be at least very good. Please 😄
  9. Don't jump into conclusions before seeing the final product. Right now everyone is already judging it'll be word not allowed based on how it is now which is not final. Most folks give high praises for that freeware 787 out there and the word not allowed thing flies like a cessna - It's actually ridiculous, but hey it has a nice EFB right?
  10. This is the last thing i look for in a simulated aircraft. Oddly enough, it seems to be how people measure quality nowadays.
  11. Does this one have independent MCDUs? The engines seem to have been properly modeled which is nice.
  12. Yes, true. Couldn't care less about wasting time bashing. I'm more for facts.
  13. That's an easy win because PMDG is stuck in the past regarding this. They are that closed-up company that hides absolutely everything from the public (God knows why) and don't understand how the world evolved regarding the simulator environment. I don't like it much (dune splash screens and all as if this was a regular shooter) but if you fail to understand why and don't embrace changes, you're just left behind. Reminds me of FSLabs, they're also not made for this "new world".
  14. Mixed feelings here. Such an UGLY aircraft and such curiosity and will to fly it. Let it come!
