LUNKEN AIRPORT AIR-SHOW 2003

This years Cincinnati Lunken Airport Air-Show was a huge success for everyone. We had a vendors booth setup selling our Home Cockpit Video version 1. We met some very interesting people and I would like to thank everyone who stopped by and chatted. Below I have posted a few pictures I took in the morning prior to show.

What a spectacular beauty this is. TWA's Super Constellation.

Aboard TWA's "Connie" with Chief Pilot Captain W.D. Van Wormer. "Van" is one of the most exciting individuals I have ever spoken to. Just as genuinely nice and easy going as you could ever imagine. I throughly enjoyed the lengthy conversation we had and I could have talked to him for ever. Currently a 75-76 Captain with American, Van has flown darn near everything you can imagine. The "Connie" of course, the 747, 767, 757 and L-1011 just to name a few! Any aviation nut like myself can imagine just how interesting this fellow is.

Another shot close up.

Sitting in the Captains seat I snapped this shot looking out of the "Connie". I was shocked to see just how high this bird sits off the ground. Very close to the same height of the 767.

Another gorgeous aircraft. Delta Airlines DC-3.

And not to be out done by Piedmont Airlines DC-3.

Another shot.

Here is a neat aircraft. Pardon me if I get this wrong but I believe this is a military cargo version of the DC-4 tabbed the C-54.

Another show of the cockpit.

A closeup of the C-54.

One more shot of the inside of the C-54 tabbed the "Spirit of Freedom" which happens to be a touring museum.

Hey whats this? Yep, its the "Deltaflight" booth.

That sure is a fine looking simulator. ;)
