What? Another upgrade you ask?

Well of course....... You know these things are never done as we strive for ultimate realism and perfection.

This upgrade was a bear but well worth the time put in. First off, we have added a working steering tiller on the Captain's side like in the real 767. The tiller is used for steering the aircraft on the ground except during takeoff and landings when the rudder pedals are preferred. The tiller allows for precise 90° turns while taxiing. It adds more realism to our sim and takes some practice to get used to.

Also, more importantly, we have re-designed our yokes completely! The old CH Pro yokes are gone forever (thank God) and have been replaced with a linked system constructed of pulleys and cables running underneath the simulator carriage. The feel of the new yokes is incredible and again brings us one step closer to realism.

The arrow points to the new steering tiller located on the Captains side panel.

Picture showing the new linked yokes. The shafts are missing the front plate in this picture and still need to be color matched with a coat of paint. But hey, they work!

Just had to add this picture during a "tiller" practice session in a downpour on one of KATL's taxiways.

Ok, one more.
