Oh yes..... construction continues on the Big Bird! As you can see from the following 6 pictures we are in the home stretch once again. Sure there are a hundred little things that need to be done. But overall, the time consuming stuff is completed. Our MCP is looking fabulous. All AML pushbutton switches are correctly wired and communicating with Enrico's MCP. Each individual switch light illuminates when the function is called..... e.g. Heading Hold.

In the 5th picture down you can see the avionics compartment better known or referred by us as the "head" or lavatory, is beginning to fill as more and more computer equipment is installed. We even stuffed an extra monitor inside. This allows us to control all perameters of FS2000 by looking at this monitor, oppose to stretching our heads and looking for the Windows Start button out the front window. Fortunately our video card (Matrox G400 32MB dualhead) which runs the out-the-window display allows for two monitors to be connected.
