Description
Each scenery pack
created with the TerraModels Software, requires the use of a TerraModels
Texture Pack.
The texture
pack contains object textures used by TerraModels scenery, plus additional
pre-defined object models.
Each texture
pack download contains 3 files:

A high
resolution texture pack (TM256.POD)
¨
A low
resolution texture pack (TM128.POD)
¨
A
README.TXT file
The high resolution texture pack contains mostly 256x256 textures. As a result, it will require video cards with a large amount of onboard memory (32mb or higher ?)
The low
resolution texture pack contains mostly 128x128 textures. This is the preferred method for low-end
video cards, or users that may want more performance out of their high-end
card.
The
TerraModels Texture Pack is a one-time download, which is shared among all
scenery packs created with TerraModels.
Additional downloads may be required as new features are added. However, the texture packs will always be backward-compatible
with earlier scenery releases.
Installation
To install the
texture pack:

Download
the latest texture pack above.
¨
Using
WinZip, extract ONE of the texture files (TM256.POD or
TM128.POD) to the Fly2\SCENERY\SHARED directory.
