simBRIEF wants to place a * .rte file

Recommended Posts

After downloading in simBRIEF a B77L-B777-200LR * .rte file, I need to put this file in:

C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ PMDG \ FLIGHT PLANS \ 777

And then I put this file in-PMDG FMC / CDU in "CO ROUTE"

But for the B74F-B747-400F after the istallatie made no folder in:

C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ PMDG \ FLIGHT PLANS \

I might create a folder, if so what should I name him myself, I tried a folder 747 and 747400, but that did not work?

Or maybe there is another possibility?

During the installation of the PMDG 744-8iF do I get a message that my FSX Gold Edition is newer ...

Hi Jaap,

The 747 uses the older *.rt2 file format, which as far as I know is not currently supported by Simbrief. However you would put it in the PMDG\FLIGHT PLANS folder.

Just place it in the base FLIGHTPLANS folder. It doesn't need to be in any subfolder.

Simbrief creates the .rte files in the format eg ..... EGLLKEWR

I've always found that for older addons (like the PMDG 747) it's been necessary to manually add "001" to the end of the file name, in order for the 747 to 'see' the flight plan from the CDU's CO ROUTE feature

eg...  EGLLKEWR001
