Fully loaded i was told 95% N2 for takeoff. For climbing 90% N2. High altitude just use full throttle as the percentage will drop. Also if the weather is hot the revs will increase so keep an eye on the red line which is 100%.

It should be N1 that is referenced not N2 (N1 being the fan speed, N2 is the turbine). Was this just a typo?

No it was not a typo i know that N1 is fans. I just did not know you use them for takeoff power settings as the N2 is the upper gauge. I develop more than fly jets.

 

It makes sense now to use the N1 fans because when hot the N2 is 95% N1 is only 55%. And this would be a low setting for takeoff. So i can see why you need to use N1 as this is more important for being the correct rpm and N2 will just max out.
