Also I would like to know is this addon suited for those who like to start at the gate and not the runway?

 

Like from a cold & dark state. That way the FO will do mostly everything to turn the plane on and get it ready for taxi and take off right?

You can start at either the gate or the runway.  It's flexible in that way.
