PFPX tail/registation numbers help

Recommended Posts

I am confused on what to put for these 2 entries...

I usually fly PMDG 777 United Airlines Livery

So I looked on google to see their fleet and I am using N771UA as the registration number, but what do I put for a tail number?

As a painter I find ( especially ) with American airlines that they also use a fleet number . Looking at N771UA these are the numbers on the gearbay doors for the nose wheel ( in this case 2471 ) . Airlines such as Northwest / Delta add the number 2 to the registration , so for example N301US becomes 3201 as fleet number . This number is then placed on the tailfin ( Delta ) or nose section ( Northwest ) .

hope this helps .

I only use registration number when setting up a new aircraft in PFPX as this is itself a unique identifier. I get the data from my aircraft's .cfg file.

So I locate the aircraft in my lockheed martin/p3d/pmdg/pmdg 777x/aircraft/ folder... i load the n890ua.ini, thats the aircraft i'm using, and where can I find the registration ID or number in that file to use for PFPX?
