RealAir Legacy V2 Released

Recommended Posts

How about this one - more along the lines of a private or personal jet - rather than twin/corporate? I would bet Rob and Sean could really do a number on this one. It is just far enough out of the main stream to make a great choice and the Chinese may be receptive to having one of their's in FSX/P3D. :Tounge:

Ray

Hehe that would be cool... not sure how well all the glass would go over.

There's a cool video here of it flying and interior

Near the end of the video my voice is heard clearing him for the ILS Ry 9 approach lol!

If we are going to have a RealAir wish list, I would only add three words...

Thanks for the video link, Ryan. Cruise speed is the same as the Turbo Legacy V2, heck Sean wouldn't even have to make a new airspeed indicator. I like the G3000 panels - bet it would be a snap for the RealAir team.  I want one.  Do you have any influence with Rob and Sean?

Ray

I'm going a bit OT here but that plane is fantastic

Just cleared one for takeoff the other day - thing rotated in barely a 1000 ft and was climbing through FL320 30 miles west of DLH

I'd really like to see a Turbine Legacy!

You and me both - have you seen Turbulence? Just google it (with the keyword "legacy")

We considered doing one, but the extended nose to accommodate the engine to my mind rather spoils the looks and appears rather ungainly.

Back to the Legacy - I see no mention of cowl flaps, but, using the default cowl flap controls results in a CHT change under otherwise steady conditions.  Force of habit has me checking my default controls climbing and then reaching cruise . . .

Is this just a sim limitation?

Joe,

This a bit too cryptic for me. Is this a reference to an airplane?

Ray

Thanks for replying, would love a smaller corporate jet or bigger ga aircraft from your company. The upcoming Pilatus jet, the PC-24 would be a nice plane to fly.

I think Joe means the Citation CJ4 Ray

The PC 24 looks to be a very handsome aircraft and to my eyes much prettier than the Honda or Cirrus. Perhaps a bit Citation-like. It can take off and land on turf and unpaved surfaces.

Hi,I have 3 of Real Airs aircraft and I am very pleased with all of them ,Legacy v2 Turbine Duke for P3D and the Piston Duke v2 (will update To P3D when its released) If Real Air do bring out a business jet then based on the quality of the aircraft I already have and the fact that I want to fly a bizjet (with updatable Navigraph FMC) THEN I'd almost certainly buy that too.

Absolutely, anything similar to a CJ3+, CJ4, or PC-24 would be an outstanding choice. We probably have enough Lears in the hangar or still in work.

Ray
