Operational Center problem

Hey fellows,

H ere is the thing. I haven't been flying the sim lately, came after long period, I can't find the pmdg operational center. and for some weird reason I just can't go into PMDG downloads's section. It says something with timed out and too long. can someone help me get it externally? or how do I just get to that section? cheers.

The OC should be accessible from your Windows Start button > all programs > PMDG.  See also the Introduction document that provides this and much more.

 

PMDG Downloads section.... not where you need to go.  If you want to download your installer then log into your account and select Order History.

I don't believe it exists externally and it can't be downloaded from PMDG. It comes about when either the NGX or 777LR base packages are installed. If you haven't already try searching your computer by clicking on the start button.

As  Michael has  suggested, it  come with the install of  the latest  ngx  and  777   downloads

Found it! but now facing another problem, I need to tupdate to latest version, but can't go to PMDG's website. any idea? thanks!

Find your HOSTS file (it won't have an extension, so right click it and open in Notepad) and post the contents here in the thread.

 

The file is located here:

C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Not sure what software put this in your HOSTS file, but remove it, save, and you should be fine.
