Boeing or not going

What do you like better, the GTN650 or 750?

Recommended Posts

I am finally moving to FSX Steam and have to leave my RealityXP GPS behind. What model of GTN do you like best, the smaller 650, or the larger 750? Thank you.

If you can have only one, I would recommend the 750, unless the aircraft you want to use it with have limited panel space.

The large display of the 750 is MUCH easier to read in map mode. The 750 can display both COM and NAV radio tuning at the same time, while the 650 only has room for one or the other. I believe the 750 has other functions not available on the 650.

I have only one and I use in P3D v3 - GTN 750 the best choose.

I prefer the 750 as well, although if you're retrofitting it into older panels, the 650 looks less 'out of place'.

However, I'm longing for either one at the moment, since my sim platform of choice these days isn't compatible.
