  1. My SVS magically started functioning tonight >> Perhaps due to the "extension". Thank you to those responsible. Best to all, Ken
  2. For those of us who are current users how do we take advantage of this ? Are there any steps we need to take or is the extension seamless / automatic ? Thank you for the replies, Ken,
  3. What's the story on the SVS. No help coming for a week from Carenado. Are they closed for the holidays ~:) I've sent my SVS purchase Serial # to Carenaado (twice) during the past week, as they requested and as yet, no response ~:( Ken
  4. Tonight I have a "NO LIC" error on E55P Phenom PFD. I have not seen this before.. What does it mean, and can you suggest a remedy ? Thank you, Ken
  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185633197376 I regret I cannot answer your question Geoff, However >> I got the 206 from the source at the above link. And love it ~:) I have not regretted it. Been flying it for several months and the only issue I've had is hearing the engine / rotor sound in external view. As far as I know, the item is still available. The package includes very nice checklist cards and an extremely good manual / users guide in PDF format. Would be nice if the Dodosim folks hadn't deserted the FS community. Regards, Ken
  6. Can't log in, can't reset password and create a new account. I'm trying to access the Aurasim App. Please help ~:) Thank you, Ken Boardman
  7. Hi Ray, Handing Comms over to Otto prior to requesting clearance did the trick ~:) Many thanks for your help with this. I'm ready to make skid marks in the sky with my CS B-52. Best regards, Ken
  8. That's outstanding Ray. I normally always hand Comms over to Otto, but not until I've requested push-back. I look forward to trying this solution (Otto, before clearance request) for my next B52 flight. Sounds like a simple solution ~:) Thanks again, Ken
  9. Hi Ray, Tonight I set the RCV4 assigned code into the Capt Sim B-52 transponder and nothing changed up on the FSX title bar. I captured an image which can be obtained from the Dropbox link below. I've tried various positions of the transponders switches hoping to see the code on the title bar change, but no joy. Not sure what to try next. I don't know if adding a 3rd party transponder "pop-up" to the VC (making all the necessary panel.cfg file changes) would help. Do you know where the transponder / IFF is coded in the typical FSX aircraft (ie. Model / .mdl file, etc) ? Best regards, Ken https://www.dropbox.com/s/l9av2pbuig6hu45/B52_CS_Transponder_1.jpg?dl=0
  10. I understand what to look for now Ray. When I flew the PMDG B744 last night I noticed that the code on the title bar changed when I entered the RCV4 code. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens tonight when I try the B52 again ~:) The info and troubleshooting tip you have provided have been very helpful. Best regards, Ken
  11. Hi Ray, I followed your instructions (above) and the number 4608 is on the FSX title bar, and I entered this number into the Win Calculator using your instructions. What does this do ? And when RCV4 assigns a code where / how should I enter it ? I'm a bit confused regarding how this works. Ken
  12. Thank you for taking time to explain the FSUIPC procedure Ray. And for the codes. I will try it. Also, the transponder click-wheels on the pilot's side panel IFF "box" in the B-52's VC appear to function normally and I am able to set the Code and it looks great ~:) But the code (apparently) just doesn't go anywhere (doesn't get transmitted). I will follow up here after I use your FSUIPC tip. Many thanks, Ken
  13. Hi Ray, Thank you for helping. This is the only aircraft I've had this issue with. And the Sim is FSX Acceleration, Best regards, Ken
  14. To all, Been using Radar Contact from back when Moby Dick was a minnow and still use it with generally no problems. However RCV4 doesn't seem to recognize the codes that I enter into the CS B-52 transponder. I have verified that the codes are being properly entered; so I need to know if there is a workaround for this. The RCV4 ATC of course continually tells me to enter the code (after I've done my best to enter it ~:) Any tips or suggested fixes for this dilemma will be very welcome. Best to all, Ken Boardman
