Not a big deal but not sure what is meant by "You can copy the Panel file contents into a spoiler if you like. " Inside of the Reveal hidden contents sections shows only Just like this... Is a list of lines You said "I assume the version number is that of MVAMS and it is aware of a v5 P3D install." As for the MVAMS the version number was for it. A couple of the options are not changing in the MVAMS. Always a cold /dark start, no spinner not available. How to tell if it is aware of the P3dv5.3 install? Just to clarify... the changes were made in Sim Objects/ Airplanes/ DHC-2 Beaver Milviz/ panel.mv530_430/ Panel.cfg ... not the panel.cfg file in the panel folder found under NightLighting. I added the Window01=GPS to the DHC-2 Beaver Milviz\panel.mv530_430\panel.cfg and saved. The popup now works. Thanks a lot for the help. The two garmins display and the ADF display is below them, with the AP below the ADF. The AP has a display window that is see through and I can see the front dash through it. lol.. no big deal. Before going further, should I uninstall P3d and reinstall on the C drive using Run as Admin for the install? I will PM you sometime for the new aircraft. I got the no spinner option working using your suggestions. Just can't get the Ready to fly/ready to start option to work but I prefer to use the cold and dark startup method anyway. Thanks again.

Version 1.010 Well I tried the changes as described but no change. I have several times now deleted and reinstalled the Milviz Beaver after trying different things so I wonder if my original was no longer looking as it should. Maybe an uninstall and reinstall to c drive. Yes that is the link for the panel file change. The uncover option works in FSX. No P3D files or program was open. P3Dv5.3 path: C/Program files/Lockheed Martin/P3Dv5.3 Opened Notepad as admin and was able to save panel file. Pop up still not working. Do not know how to paste a copy of the files found in the AppData local MVAMS but Isee MVAMS.exe with orange icon with a white image of a jet outline the same as on the MVAMS . Don't see MVAMS.exe with an icon like a sheet of paper with a ball on it. File name extensions and Hidden items are checked ... at PC level. I see the full names of MVAMS.exe and MVAMS.exe.config As for the MVAMS folder with file version_lib-mvams.txt, it is not there at all MVAMS contains only 3 folders and 19 files. No Utilites Folder Note ... that the Milviz MVAMS window ( MVAMS.exe) when run does not show the opening page showing the image of the DHC-2 Milviz Beaver. I also have the Milviz 310 R which is not showing up. All these things worked fine until I decided to move the Milviz Beaver from P3Dv4.5 to the P3dv5.3 using an older installer. With this new installer the opening page is still not there . Versions folder contains only a folder named DHC2. In that folder is DHC2.xml. ... nothing else. Given the info above I'm not quite sure by what you mean using a path of "\appadata\local\mvams\versions\", can you clarify ? Same path as above Version folder is one of the three folders I have where as you also have a Ulitilites folder.

Well I installed the P3dv5 of the beaver that you linked too. The Garmin now shows and works, however, the pop up window for the garmin does not open up when right clicking on the panel window in sim. Also I choose the no-spinner version in the MVAMS and the spinner version shows up in the sim. I no longer have the P3dv4 on my computer. As for the MVAMS.exe Properties/Details shows as version 0.9.9.0 with a date modified as 29/03/2017, in my computer no version is showing and date modified is 9/28/2023. As for the MVAMS: file in the MVAMS folder titled "version_lib-mvams.txt" containing the text "Milviz MVAMS 1.0.0 - November 2019", my situation is completely different. There is no version_lib-mvams.txt folder. The path I am using is c/users/jack/appadata/local/mvams/versions so I must be doing something wrong. Also where I did an uninstall and then a reinstall for P3Dv5 may have changed layouts. Please don't give up on me yet. I did a search for the pop up not working and found a post with the same issue and he solved it by placing in the DHC-2 Beaver Milviz panel.mv530_430 a list of instruction to make it work. I did the same info and when saving the computer gave a message from notepad that I did not have permission from Lockheed Martin to save changes to this file.

Thanks Rogen for the reply. Is there a link somewhere which gives the steps to follow for the registry changes. I am not very familiar with such things. I did check both installs of P3d and FSX steam on my computer and the "Aircraft_backup.cfg" and the "Aircraft.cfg" are not present in P3D5.3 but are present in FSX/simobjects/airplanes/dhc-2 beaver milviz. I have the latest installer for Milviz Beaver. I did setup MVAMS to run as Admin. Not able to do: P3D has its HKCU registry key created ? Thanks for any help

I have installed the Milviz Beaver into P3Dv5.3 and it is able to be loaded but I don't see the proper Radio with a gps window wanted. I want to use the MVAMS to choose a different radio .... the 530/430. I assume the MVAMS is looking P3D4 because after using MVAMS to choose the Milviz 530/430 and saving the change is not made. I also have FSX installed and the MVAMS works fine. I have searched for a solution but have come up empty.

Good news ... I left solution 3 's change from yesterday still in and and never tried to do it again. When I ran FSX Steam I got the error message again so I selected yes and this time the Sim didn't CTD and I was given the choice as to purchase or not. I selected no ... as always and it worked. Thanks again. I have not tried it numerous times as yet but hope that it is solved.. perhaps related to your mentioning of the IP change over. Now I got to solve another unrelated issue concerning my Nvidia card which just appeared last night. I will mention it only in sharing how computers can cause ulcers. Geforce experience indicated that it had an update so I ran the geforce experience program and it asked me to log in ... which I did ...using the correct email and password that has always worked. The program said it would send a verifying email code to my email address but it never arrived there. Not in Spam folder either. It gave an automated response " are you offline." would not let me log in ... hanging cursor .... Got a hold of Nvidia help ( 40 min wait ) by chat and the guy was very good and patient but could not solve the issue. He asked me to log in the Outlook, which I have never used before so he could send me some instructions. Outlook required me to sign in , which I did using my email address. Well it said it will send a code to my email to verify the sign in process. Received the verifying email code. Said I need to follow the two step authorization process to complete the sign in and to check my other email account for the other code. Well that other email account and provider had been cancelled about four months ago when we where able to join Bell fiber internet. Well I thought that maybe I could log in the Nvidia website ... control panel. Wrong. It would not let me. I was sent a "verifying email address"link to my email inbox. I clicked on it and it took me to a window on the Nvidia website which said " you do not have permission to proceed". 3:30 am by now so I went to bed. Thanks Jack

Thanks for the quick reply byork. I have already looked at all the options but I will give it another go and hope I did something wrong but I believe I did it correctly. I will reply as to the results ... good or bad. I did a integrity check of the FSX Steam and it never fixed the problem either. If it does not work, I was wondering if I should uninstall and reinstall the Aerosoft A320 again. Don't know why the problem suddenly appeared because I can't remember changing or installing any thing except a panel mod for a GTN 750 in the Carenado Phenom 300. I did have two windows 10 updates with in the last little while before this problem arose. Thanks Jack

Hello ... I just started having the same error message, but for version 2.3.1.7. of RAAS. This software has always ran fine ... I select "no" when asked to purchase the Pro version. I use it only for Aerosoft A320/321, which came with the download of Aerosoft. I use FSX Steam and only have the RAAS for the Aerosoft A320/321. I tried the suggestions from the link provide above but all failed. Could not do Solution1 because FSX CTD when selecting Yes. In solution 2 there are no references to RAAS. I made the changes for Solution 3 but the Sim CTD. Please help for this issue. Jack

Hi Bert I think I moved all sliders up before but I will give a try.... hope for the best. I assume they are the sliders in front of the throttle quadrant. By the way, I have not fully tested the Flight1 GTN750 as yet Bert but I will let you know how it goes. Hopefully soon. Update: Transponder now has lights. I must have missed that slider because I remember moving the quadrant levers out of the way to get at all the sliders. Many thanks Jack
