Having recently returned from the Flight sim show at the Avidome in Amsterdam, and having had the privilege of being given a guided tour of the Dutch Dakota Association's 2 DC-3's, I just had to get my DC-3 (R4D) out and take it for a flight. The scenery add on that I have used for this flight is by Richard Goldstein. "Big Bend" is a ground feature in the Arches National Park in Utah. Richard describes the area as "Magnificent geological features". Taking off from Sky Ranch fly on a heading of 344 degrees, the "Big Bend" will be almost instantly visible. I have put a circle in the approximate area of the feature on the 2nd map image. Although its not a huge area, its quite easy to spend a good hour flying around looking at the detail that has been included in this rendition. The surrounding area also has some great landscape to explore....Akulla
