Having been away for the last two months at school (learning how computers should be used!) it was time to get back into the way of things and get a new flight plan posted up on the site. During my time away I managed to keep up to date via friends of what was new in the world of F2000 add-ons etc. Trawling through the numerous downloads that I had on CD, I grabbed the Maule created by Steven Grant and installed it. After doing a couple of shakedown flights, I thought this was a perfect aircraft to be included on the VFR site. As some of you may know, bush flying is my passion when it comes to FS2000, and the opportunity to fly a new route is always a great temptation. I have chosen a route From Kodiak Island using Dennis Waggoner's scenery to a small lake side scenery called Golden Horn Lodge by Tom Fica. The flight takes you Northwest from Kodiak, up past King Salmon airfield before turning slightly more North into Golden Horn Lodge. The real weather I used at the time made for some excellent flying, some nice cloud formations and a touch of turbulence!! Hope you enjoy this flight as much as I did .....Akulla
