This is
an older flight I had on the shelves for some time. Although it is not a ground
hugging trip, it is still worth flying and I would encourage you to use a slower
plane and fly really vfr along the same route. This particular flights starts in
Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, shows you one of the bridges over the Firth
of Forth (actually there is a very famous rail bridge which I saw back in 1978
when visiting, but it's not on the scenery) and then takes you north towards
Inverness. From Inverness you turn left and overfly the middle of the Scottish
Highlands with it's many lakes and mountain ridges, to fly out over the Atlantic
towards Stornaway.
For this particular flight I used a Dornier DO328 in KLMAlps livery. This is a
FS98 aircraft I still use sometimes because I have not yet found a FS2000
version (hint.. hint.. ;) )
Actually, I did the flight twice because my computer 'froze' during the first
one. That is why you will see two different 'times'... I did the first flight in
the evening and the second one at dusk.
