Commander 114TC High-Performance Single (Aircraft & Panel)

File
Description:
The Commander 114B/TC traces its lineage to the North American Rockwell
Commander 112 of 1970's. In 1988, the Commander Aircraft Company took over
production of the 114A model, and modernized and improved it considerably,
including improving it's airspeed by 12 kts. The changes include a new
restyled all composite engine cowling to reduce drag and other aerodynamic
improvements as well as a larger engine driving an improved three-blade
prop. The 114B was issued certification in 1992, with the turbocharged
114TC following in 1995. Commander's are usually very well equipped
aircraft and are considered "the Mercedes of the single engine
fleet."

M Ranch, Oregon NEW! File
Description:
Flying M Ranch is a challenging airstrip set in a valley just SW of
Portland, Oregon. There is a single 2135' turf/gravel runway, which is
blocked at the western end by trees and a fence. The 070/250 runway has a
one-way pattern which forces all take-offs to the east, and landings to the
west. Buildings, fences, trees and power cables close to the runway add to
the challenge. The combination of terrain SDK, Photo-textured Terrabuilder
Pro elevated mesh, and detailed object macros breathe life into this small
but charming airstrip. (RR)

Davis
Oregon
Images of this upload:
File
Description:
Davis is a small airstrip 1 Km south of Gates, Oregon. I chose the area
because it had an interesting mix of natural features. In order to
appreciate this scenery at its best, you will need to download and install
Lennart Arvidsson's superb 'Replacement textures for FS 2000'. Without these
files the airport texture will not match as well as intended. This scenery
also works best with Eddie Denney's 'Oregon' mesh elevation scenery.
Although the Davis scenery works without it, the added relief of Eddie's
mesh serves as a platform for the tree formations. (RR)

File
Description:
Surrounded by trees and high terrain, Santiam presents an interesting
challenge for GA enthusiast looking for something new. With just over 100
operations a year, it should be quiet enough for undisturbed circuit
training and cross-country flying. A broad avenue of trees is included which
links Santiam directly to 'Davis Oregon Airfield.' There are a large number
of trees in the immediate vicinity of the airport, and density setting to
make the scenery more accessible. (RR)
