AVSIM's VFR Flight Center  - Simulation Links

The number of sites on the world wide web nowadays is huge....even the number of such specialized sites as FS2000 scenery, navigation and other simming related pages are countless. The lists provided here are therefore anything but complete. There are sites out there that provide you with whole databases of sites to check, I will mention them here when I find them.
The intention of this page is just to share some of my favorite links with you. Be sure to look at Avsim's 'world of simming links' too.... of course AFTER you have checked all links below ;-)

The ones in bold typeface are some of the sites I value most, but that's just a personal view of course. Anyway, I wish you lots of fun surfing using the lists below.

The Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network (VATSIM.net) is a global online community that provides structured air traffic control services via the internet by utilizing the ProController© and Squawkbox© software programs.
Their mission and vision is to provide the highest-quality and most realistic flight simulation experience possible, while maintaining respect and accountability to the end-user.

The FLY! Links Site - Here you will find a comprehensive list of links to Fly! related web sites. This web site is updated on a regular basis.
Faitmain.com/FS2002. A strange name, but a very recommendable site. Faitmain (which means Home made) is a French FS2002 News site dedicated to bring the flightsimulation news, downloads, reviews and much more in the French language. It is a new information source for all french speaking flight simmers, striving to be an interface between their readers and the rest of the world. Visit the Faitmain/FS2002 site.

This is a great new web site for FS2002 fans. Especially the section with the collection of tips and tricks helped many of us in the early days of FS2002. It is still a very valuable resource for FS2002 tips. And the forum is well mannered, with lots of interesting people visiting. You can find them here.

ABC is a virtual bush charter company founded by Don Moser. It is located in the North of Alaska and features a whole series of special made scenery, mainly camps on the shores of the many lakes in the area. Don's site is hosted by AVSIM and he maintains his own forum where bush pilots can tell their tales and pick up assignments. It's a good place to hang out with friendly people only, so well worth your visit, and who knows, once you got the taste of it YOU might become a bush pilot too !
One of my two favorite 'Virtual Airlines'. Bush Flying Unlimited is all about having fun using a variety of flight simulator programs. At the time of writing BFU pilots use Flight Unlimited III (their roots) and FS2002. They are hosted by AVSIM and have their own 2 forums there too. BFU uses custom made scenery that can be found on AVSIM (see their website). It is a friendly outfit without many rules.... the main rules are to have fun and be courteous !! Check them out now and become a Bush Flyer !!!
