    HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) announces the (delayed) arrival of its first primary release for 2022.
    This web site update is in conjunction with the group's 22nd anniversary celebrations, delayed for more than a month due to COVID imposed staff restrictions.  This latest release is composed of more than 118 "NEW" and "UPGRADED" textures for the virtual B707, B720, B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, C-135 SERIES, CV880, CV990, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, L-1011 TRISTAR, MD-80, SE-210 CARAVELLE, and VC10 flight lines currently offered by HJG and both FS2004 and FSX.

    Fenixsim has released their much-anticipated high-fidelity Airbus 320 base package add-on for MSFS.  The base package models the A320 with CFM56 engines--free updates for the IAE engines and a sharklet variant are planned.

    Flight One Software, in partnership with the FSHud development team, has officially released FSHud – Air Traffic Control for Prepar3D v5 and v4.
    The entire scope of how ATC and AI traffic works can now be looked at in a different way... All the traffic in FSHud - Air Traffic Control, including your aircraft that is part of the traffic, is approached from an ATC point of view.  If you see an aircraft in FSHud, you know it is part of an integrated air traffic system that also includes your aircraft.
    Air traffic is monitored during your flights through the various ATC sectors. Our system is based on an aircraft's scheduled departure and arrival times, as well as the current situation enroute. FSHud will forecast any potential conflicts that might arise and adjusts flight parameters for the applicable air traffic.

    PMDG has released the fifth re-make of its iconic Boeing B737 add-on, this time for Asobo's MSFS platform.  This first release in the MSFS 737 series includes the B737-700, the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ1), and the B737 BDSF cargo variant.  Future standalone releases are planned for the B737-600, B737-800, and B737-900 series aircraft--each will be a standalone, separately sold and priced add-on rather than an expansion to a base add-on as in the past.

    Leonardo has released the much-anticipated MSFS version of their MD-82 add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator.  The Leonardo Maddog has been long-considered a top-shelf high fidelity add-on for Microsoft ESP-based sims, and now their experienced team has brought the MD-82 to life in the MSFS platform.

    FS2Crew has just released FS2Crew for the Aerosoft CRJ in MSFS.
    This is an advanced airline crew simulation, featuring voice and button control options, that allows users to fly the MSFS Aerosoft CRJ using real-world CRJ crew procedures.

    RDPresets has released RDShade, a custom shader tweaking utility for both Prepar3D v4 and v5.  The utility allows on-the-fly customization of a wide range of shader settings to fine-tune P3D's lighting, color, etc to taste.  Available now at the RDPresets online store and other sim software outlets.
    Thranda has released their Cessna 208 Caravan for X-Plane 11.  The initial release includes wheeled versions of the Caravan 675 and Grand Caravan, in both passenger and cargo versions.  The instrument panels can be customized with more than 50 gauges, and includes support for the native X-Plane GNS430/530 and the Reality-XP GTN750 GPS units (a G1000 expansion is planned for later).  The add-on includes a dynamic livery editor that allows custom selection of colors applied to several two-tone liveries.  The Thranda Caravan is available now at the X-Plane.org store.
    Rotatesim has released their long-awaited MD-11F add-on for X-Plane 11.  The intial release is the MD-11F freighter version still in use by global air freight giants FedEx and UPS today--a passenger variant is expected later as an expansion.  The add-on features extensive systems simulations, over 200 failure modes, full regime FADEC-controlled GE CF-6 engine modellng, FMOD dynamic sound effects and more.

    FSAerodata announces the release of their new product: VeroRoutes, a detailed collection of real-world flight routes and en-route CPDLC simulation.
    VeroRoutes gives a new dimension of realism in flight simulation with its large database of real-world flight plans of 36,000 added every day in the US airspace.  Additionally, during en-route navigation, it provides flightplan related messages to the aircraft via CPDLC messages as in the real-life flight. The messages include: route amendments, squawk changes, ATC handoffs, altitude changes, hold instructions, etc.
    The delivery of the messages to the user is carried out using a virtual network of the 20 ARTCC centers in the US airspace, with their 500 sectors and real-world frequencies, based on the Hoppie network.
    The product is compatible with MSFS2020, Prepar3D and X-Plane. Additionally, it's fully compatible with FlyByWire A32NX on MSFS, or any aircraft equipped with CPDLC functionality and Hoppie ACARS interface; for aircrafts without a CPDLC display, a custom gauge is available.
