Hi,

I know this is a legacy product, but was wondering if the following could be clarified...

The manual states that the Transition Level should be set in the DES FORECASTS page of the FMC. However it appears that the Transition Level call during descent takes it's value from the Transition Altitude value in the PERF INIT page instead. Is this correct?

I did see a very old post suggesting the correct value couldn't be read from the aircraft (iFly SDK limitation?), but was wondering if this was still the case for the final version? The workaround suggested was to change the PERF INIT page value mid-flight, but I don't believe that page is accessible once in the air.

This is for P3Dv4.5 using the iFly 737NG and FS2Crew Voice.

	Many thanks

This is the first problem I've had with FS2crew. I have PMDG 777 installed with FS2crew. Also have iFly 737 installed with FS2crew. Everything was working perfectly. I installed Aerosoft A318-319/320-321 Pro and FS2crew. Now I can't get any panels to open up on any of these aircraft. All the panels are installed, they do show in the panel CFG file and under vehicle-instrument panel on the tool bar. When I push the N button on the key board, the green band says that FS2crew has started. No panels show up. I'm unable to bring up any panel using the drop menu on the tool bar. I've uninstalled and re-installed FS2crew as well as the aircraft. Still have the same problem.

Hi, Have been using FS Crew (Voice Edition)since 2011 with my Ifly 737. Have taken a week away from my computer and when restarted the flight Sim, the Voice button on the bar does not come on even after pressing it. The speech recognition is set to US English. The FO does not carry out their functions, though the time clock does run down from 30 mins. Have included the Speech Engine Log. Any ideas?

	Hello Support,

After purchasing bundle package FS2Crew iFly, version 1.2 (8 July 2011), I installed the version Voice in my FS9.
Then I installed the update version 2.3.
These are my flight system requirements: Intel Core i7-920 (4 x 2.666 GHz) - 6144 MB RAM with a graphics card: 2 x XFX Nvidia Geforce GTX 295 (1792MB), Windows XP 64bit (gaming edition), Flight Simulator 9.1, iFly 737 version 3.2.2
Before starting my FS9 I first started the iFly config tool and for all aircraft models enabled the voice.
At the 1st flight I was doing all right with a CTD at approach of an airport, with the popup message out of memory.
This should not really happen with 6GB of RAM in my system.
At the 3rd flight I was tired and did the whole program of FS2Crew have taken off again, I again installed the version 1.2 and 2.2 after reboot.
Unfortunately again after two flights, the CTD issue.
Again, remove the entire program and FS2Crew installed after a restart now only the version 1.2.
This might not benefit directly in my 1st flight again a CTD.
Meanwhile, remove all of FS2Crew and now after 3 flights fly no more problems with the CTD issue.

Now I ask myself what is wrong and I quite regret that I have made this purchase.
Hopefully someone from the team develepment FS2Crew something to tell what is wrong with this software in FS9.

	Regards,
John

I have been using FS2Crew on mi iFly 737NG for about 2years with no problems at all. Recently, the program has stopped responding to my voice commands (requests for checklists and operational cmmands-raise/lower gear, lower/raise flaps, heading, altitude settings, etc.).

I know my microphone is working as I am able to communicate on Vpilot and the Voice Control option is set in the iFly config manager.

FO still prepares flight deck in preflight (when PF button pushed) and announces "Cabin Secure" before takeoff, "10,000 '" and "Transition altitude" and he just announced "Center fuel pumps going off". He just ignores me.

Hello,

On the -800 he is setting the Engine Start Switches to AUTO for T/O and LDG

He also doesnt correct me if i read back "Continous" even if Auto is selected

Hello everyone,

First of all, what a nice product FS2Crew, it takes some time to learn, but now, i cant fly without. I'm using it nearly a year without problems.

This week foor the first time a flight from EBBR (Brussels) to EHAM (Amsterdam) start descending, FSX freezes without saying why, a second time, a third time, problem persists!

Using latest version 2.3 voice.... but, i happens the moment you say descent cheklist. I just just skipped this item and went direct to Approach cheklist....found it! Everything works normal.

Found on the net that it could be that de airport is very low, indeed Amsterdam EHAM 13 feet. The readback of the FO provokes the crash of FSX!!

Is there a solution to this problem ?, it's not elegant to skip the descent item...

Thank You!!

Ok, I have searched the forums and I did not see anything about my problem so it might just be a configuration on my end.

I fly on Vatsim and I use vPilot to connect to their servers. I just downloaded the iFly 737NG Series as well. I have not flown the 737NG on Vatsim yet because I have been learning the FMC and Nav operations. When I used any other plane (CRJ700) on Vatsim and connected with vPilot I didn't have any communication problems thru my microphone, the controllers heard me clearly.

I installed FS2Crew for less workload in the 737NG (Which is Awesome BTW!!). FS2Crew works fine by itself and the speech recognition works great and recognizes me clearly when I speak. I have been using Speech Recognition for other games as well for about a year now so I know that is setup properly.

When I run vPilot and FS2Crew together, FS2Crew does not recognize my voice AT ALL while vPilot is running. If I close vPilot, then FS2Crew works again after I close FSX completely and reload without vPilot. This is frustrating because I need vPilot to connect to Vatsim.

I am not sure if there is a setting checked wrong or if they conflict with eachother but they will not work together period!

Someone please help me troubleshoot this. I am extremely computer savvy so geek talk will work with me.

I tried using FSInn but when I start that program it freezes my Simulator so thats why I went with vPilot. Is there a suggestion for a different program for Vatsim that doesn't conflict with FS2Crew?

Any help is appreciated!!

Hi Bryan,

But I have problems getting the voice recognition to understand specific words,

Whenever I say 'OK', it is interpreted as 'open'. I have tried many pronounciations, but always the same. It never understands 'OK'.

I also have problems with 'You're cleared to disconnect and go to hand signals'.

I have gone through the setup and voice training several times, and on two different PC's but it does not help.

Any suggestions ?

The manual "suggests" there is actually a flight tutorial included... but there isn't - just a bunch of Appendices with "Flows".

Is there a proper tutorial showing the user the complete procedure from start to finish - together with Actions and Voice Commands relevant to those actions... in the correct order ?

Heck, I can't even find a decent one on Youtube !

Even the older button versions had decent tutorials - such as the ATR for example.

I realise that all the checklists and voice commands are actually in the "manual", but it is fragmented and hardly constitutes a "Tutorial". One starts on Page 43 for actions, then down to page 50-odd to see what the FO actions are... then to Page 60-odd to find the relevant voice commands, then back to Page 44, for the next actions, and down again to page 50-odd for the FO actions, and then to page 60 for the voice.... blah blah and so on.

Franlky I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than try to use this "Tutorial" in its present form.

I'm wondering how many who lurk here have had absolutely no problems with installation and/or the UI and would truly miss FS2Crew if it... were gone. I'm beginning a home cockpit build that'll be based with the iFly B737 and would love to include FS2Crew!

Hi All,

It is I, pain number 1, I was recently given a FS2Crew disc for FS9 for the iFly 737NG, I am operating XP and FS2004 on an elderly laptop, I loaded the FS2crew and then updated it to the new version V2 (was that a mistake?) then I installed SAPI which I obtained from the microsoft website, great, I started FS9 and loaded IFly737 in windowed mode (which I hate!) and then checked in the FS9/views menu all the panels all are there and all work except the main control panel which causes black screen, then after a pause FS9 crashes and a message appears inviting me to report the failure, the same thing happens if I click on the centre of the Stby. horizon.

I've just found a post outlining a similar problem to mine, the solution being to rt click on the config manager and run it as admin, I did look at this but when I rt click on the icon I am not given the "run as admin" option.

I was very unsure whether to post here or in the CTD forum, my abject apologies if I put this in the wrong place.

Any ideas anybody, my thanks in advance.

Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible to have the FO react to my voice commands while on the ground. I'm thinking about commands to set up the panels, e.g. set speed, set altitude, heading, et cetera. It appears that these commands are not working until airborne.

I know it is quite possible to tune these dials myself while on the ground, but am suffering from tendinitis so I am trying to avoid as much as possible fiddling with the mouse.

Thanks.

I have set everything as stated in the manual. I've set the USB headset as my headset audio device in the FS2CREW config panel, I've activeted "HS" in the FS2CREW main window but all sounds and voices only come over my main speakers, which are connected to a Creative Fatality Gamer soundcard. There are no other audio devices installed on my computer. The onboard soundcard is also deactivated in BIOS. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64Bit. I would be happy for any advice. Kind regardsMartin

Fatal error starting FS2crew
