Hi,

When I open the FS2Crew config manager, I get an alert that says I need the service pack 1c for my ngx, but when I try to install it, it says that I have a later update, and that i'm trying to install an earlier version. Also, when I go to addons in fsx, it doesnt show up there. This problem pertains to the Special Bundle and the EmergencyNGX.

Thanks for your help!

Hi

I have just purchased this product and it is running as it should apart from no actual engine fire visual. Failures are turned on and I have selected Engine Fire 1 within the FMC in the PMDG 737 failures. Lights and sound all work as they should as does the FO announcements but when I look from outside at the engine it shows no sign of being on fire. What am I doing wrong please.

In recent months a rather annoying inadvertent activation of the 'Off Schedule Descent Check-list' is occurring, despite not saying any words near that phrase. This can and does happen on the ground during the pre-flight, the result been unable to set the cruise altitude on the cabin pressurisation panel as it keeps winding back. Even the FO cannot set the ALT during his pre-flight.

Despite re-installing the NGX & FS2C I cannot get rid of the problem.

Hey Guys.

First, let me say I am a HUGE fan of this product! It's made me absolutely love the 737 and it's among the best money I've spent for FSX.

I have a question about how to get emergencies to happen. Looking through the manual, I understand that you can choose one via the FMC etc...

but the only option I see is: x every 10 hours when I select random.

Is this the only option? That would be equivalent to about 1 emergency every 3 flights, that might be a little too many for my taste and I would

kind of 'know' one is coming.

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance and I apologize if this has been covered to death.

Hi Bryan,

When I arrive at the gate, the transponder code automatically resets to 2000 during the ground crew dialogue as follows:

Ground Crew: "Cockpit from ground"

Me: "Go ahead"

<transponder code resets to 2000>

Ground Crew: "The chocks are in now and you can release the parking brakes"

Not a big deal, but slightly inconvenient when flying online on IVAO ;-)

I'm using 2.3E Voice Control. In fact, I only found out recently, after having used Emergency NGX since the very day you released it. I just couldn't figure out why my squawk was always "2000" when looking at the IVAO tracker after I had completed a flight. That's why I took a closer look now ;-)

Do you happen to know a workaround for this? I have set "Gate Arr" and "Gate Dep" to NO on the Config panel (because those jetway bells scare the pants off of me). Would this be the problem?

Best regards,

P.S. Hope you're doing great sales with your Dash-8 version.

One thing I wanted to ask, when I like in this case had an electrical failure with drive nr 2 after I've run through the checklist with the FO who started the APU as per the checklist for that type of failure once we're on the ground am I supposed to just clear the failure in the FMC failures menu and then the FO on next preflight will close the drive guard as seen in the attached screenshot below or is that my responsibility too to close that guard once the failure has been fixed? Last time I did close the guard myself.

Hi Byork,

Two questions:

1. I run the latest Emergency fs2crew for the NGX. It works flawlessly with the official PMDG liveries, but with any other livery, made by skilled Avsim members, I get an SDK error.

Any idea how this came to be? Starting in 2D or any other proven tips you've provided in regard to a SDK message don't fix this.

2. After having fs2crew for some months now, I still can't get the FO to understand the amount of fuel during the checklist. What do you recommend? "Seven tons pumps on" or 'seventhousand kilograms pumps on"? Everything else works likeva charm and the FO understands me perfectly, but withnregard to the fuel, I just can't get it to work.

Regards

Eric

Hello,

First, I would just like to say thank you for making such immersive and wonderful products for FSX. I don't think these flights would be half as enjoyable if it weren't for your products, they really make you feel like you're there, in the cockpit.

I wanted to know if there were any plans in the near future to incorporate any more accents? I do a lot of flying in the Caribbean (Caribbean Airlines, Air Jamaica, Cayman Airways, etc) and would LOVE a proper Caribbean accent. I know one was scheduled to be included in the original release but the quality was not the best. I would be so appreciative of this being added in a future update.

Best regards

Hello,

I think I have got a problem with the descent flow. I have NGX Emergency 2.3E installed, and on my last NGX flights all the calls came too early.

Example:

Shortly before the descent on a cruise level of FL350 I have played the departure brief. I have selected my new altitude of 5000ft. At the descent forecast page of the FMC I've selected 6000ft for the transition altitude.

And then a few seconds after the NGX started the descent I heard the call "1000 TO GO" - that's the first error. A few minutes later I heard "10000ft" - the second error. Then at an altitude of about 18500ft I heard the call "TRANSITION LEVEL" - the third error, directly followed by landing preparation commands.

Could you please tell me what could be the reason for this?

Btw: I'm using the Button Control Version, and I think I've got this problem since my reinstallation of the FSX on my new operating system (Windows 8 64bit).
