I wonder if FS2Crew for the 777 will  work as is for the new 777-200ER addon? Or does it require some adaptation?

And please let me know if I can pass your answer to pilot fellows on the PMDG forum?

I know it is an old and demised airport but is there a trick to avoid that specifically on VHHX Runway 13?

During the approach, the copilots sets flaps 1, 5, landing gear : no problem.

Then I get this:

I don't recall if that is before or after flaps 20.

I read in the manual that "NOTE: A landing flap must be selected in the FMC the APPROACH PAGE or you will not be able to run the Landing Checklist."

But that is the case.

I will recheck but I don't have that problem with flaps 30.

Recently a flight simmer friend of mine read the FS2Crew website and the purpose and interest of FS2Crew addons were not clear to him.

So he asked me and I explained to him.

By doing that I realized that at the time of FSX, when I bought my 1st FS2Crew addon, I did not quite get all the interests of the product. And there were many interests that I discovered after using the product.

Which drove me to the conclusion that the presentation of the product can be improved (in my humble opinion). I suspect that a non negligible fraction of the sales are derived from word to mouth between simmers (and not from reading the website).

I volunteer to write a couple of shorts paragraphs to submit to you, for integration on the website,... if you are interested?

How about implementing an ATC ambiance for FS2Crew products?

As a 'medium-core' simmer I don't want the additional workload of managing ATC communications procedures with softwares like Radar Contact and alike.

However, I would be very interested by simplified  'ambiance' communications between the flightdeck and ATC. It does not have to be accurate. And by nature, it cannot be either of course.

Departure/arrival runways, SID/STAR, transition level, position of the aircraft are available from the FMC, winds from the sim, and so on... in order to trigger or feed ATC messages content.

What do you think personally?

And do you think it can be of interest for a large fraction of FS2Crew users?

I'm curious.

Of course I realize that in case of interest, such a feature could be only implemented in the (very) distant future, taking into account addons updates already in your work pipeline, without speaking of MSFS2020.

I only have one sound card, so it's not that.  I should point out that my NGX Reboot works perfectly fine!  It's just the 777.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing; I've tried the headset on and off - I've tried every suggestion on the forums!  If anyone has any ideas, I'd be very grateful!

Every time, at some point many hours into the flight, the sound from FS2Crew stops working, i can still hear the rest of the simulator fine, and i can hear the button press effects when i press buttons in fs2crew, but i can't hear any voices.

If I try to change fs2crew audio device in cfg to fix the problem, it instantly crashes Prepar3d. 

It would be really awesome if you could fix this as it has ruined every single one of my flights since i installed your product.

My FO doesn't close the door. He says that we have the door lights on. Then no actions take. Any ideas? Thanks. 

FO's FMC is on, FS2CREW CONTROLS DOORS set to YES, version 3.1. Win 10.

In our manual says " if you want to use the FS2Crew Pre-Flight events, do not also run the PMDG pre-flight events routine that can be triggered via PMDG 777's FMC...". What and where is the "PMDG pre-flight events routine"? Thank you.

I have problems with o.a. FS2crew PMDG 777. When starting, the following message appears "SDK Error - Support FS2Crew com". What am I doing wrong ? Can somebody help me please ? Exuse my Englisch (Google).

1- The electronic checklist window of the BEFORE START CHECKLIST won't close. it will close only after the BEFORE TAXI CHECKLIST

2 - I use 2 monitors while flying. i undock the The fs2crew main panel and put it on monitor 2. A strange thing is happening in P3Dv4 that did not happen in FSX

during long flight i toggle several times between windowed view and fullscreen . The FS2crew panel get bigger and bigger each time i toggle and there is no way to resize it even by toggling it on and off

The only way is to reload a PMDG panel state which is not very convenient in flight.

It does not happen with other stuff i might have on screen 2 like FMC , ATC window etc

I noticed that I had two sound devices

Realtec High Definition Audio (built into the motherboard) and

NVIDIA High Definition Audio (Don't know what this is.  I assumed it installed with NVIDIA video drivers but not sure)

In the FS2Crew Configuration Panel I had the Realtec device selected since this is my primary sound device but got no FO voice sound.   In a hunch I decided to disabled the NVIDIA device in my computer's Device Manager and this fixed the problem...just in case others are having a similar problem.

Anybody else notice this ? Or is it just me ? Been like that since first release, just haven't got around to asking about it .

Is it something in my settings that I have missed ?

Sonds of FSCrew are very weak allmost inaudible but other sounds from FS are mormal

Is there a system somewere to regulate that ?
