Landing Gear on 757

Recommended Posts

I cannot get the landing gear on the 757 to go up. The nose wheel also always seems to be in the turn position. The landing lever is up. I moved the lever up and down a couple of times with no effect (other than the dynamics of the aircraft appear to change.Regards,Andrew.

I've seen this too on occasion. What usually works for me is to make sure that before I select any 757, I set the time to daylight. If I select the 757 while the time is at night or dusk, I sometimes get that strange gear problem. It's tied into that landing gear/night texture bug that Robert cautioned us about. Robert and Richard will have this strightend out soon.I also know of a night texture anomoly tied into the Delta texture mixed in with the PMDG Demonstrator and AF liveries. I'm sure Robert knows about this and I'am sure he'll have this fixed too.Pete

Straight from the README file...As of release time, a bug within FLY!II is causing the retracted landing gear to occasionally re-appear in the down position when the simulator transitions between day/night. This problem is being addressed by TRI and a minor patch is expected to update FLY!II and correct the problem. Please watch the PMDG forum at www.avsim.com for information on when this patch becomes available.Matthew Vaughan
