July 1, 200322 yr I really feel sorry for the people at PDMG. It seems there being hit from all directions. I know that type of stress from my job.Remeber PDMG just breathe and do one thing at a time.I'm also patiently awaiting an email to finish my produt so I can install. I guess they didn't anticipate the type of response they recieved releasing it or didn't test there purchasing system to make sure it could handle such an influx of orders. We just need to be patient and give them some time to figure it out. I sure wish they would have gone with the Flight1 wrapper it would have been so much easier.Good luck PDMG,Sean
July 1, 200322 yr Commercial Member Sean-we're doing JUST fine! ;-)We're seeing less than 1% of download users having an issue with things... :-)(Wouldn't you think this is GOOD? :-) ) Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
July 1, 200322 yr Lefteris,I got my mail reply within a minute so I can't complain about that! :) However, I do seem to have the problem with fps falling after a while. I'm confident it will be sorted out though one way or another and just want to congratulate you on continuing (from Fly! and Fly!II) the line of excellent products for us flight simmers./Krister"all things equal I'd rather be in Greece" Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
July 1, 200322 yr Commercial Member Krister-mind telling me if you're running in Full Screen or in 2D mode, when that happens? Also - if I may venture a guess - you are probably going into the VC and back out, and THEN it happens, right?I have a possible workaround for you, as this seems FS-related:Try clicking on a different window altogether in 2D mode, and then coming back into your FS. Frame Rates should go back up to their normal values. We're still investigating this - if we have some news, I'll let you know.Cheers Lefteris Kalamaras - Founder www.flightsimlabs.com
July 1, 200322 yr Lefteris,I'll check that out. I now tried using a cockpit where there is 2D view only and the fps is then stable and high - no problem whatsover. I get about 20 fps with UT at 100% and running 1280x960x32 in both external and cockpit view.Another important thing that has been noted by a gentleman on this forum is that if you switch to the 737 from an airplane where the nav instruments aren't turned on, the nav radios won't work in the 737. So either assign a button to turn them on or switch from a plane where it is on. I believe also Iron Knuckles "suffers" from this.Anyway, I love this plane already and your attention to the details, the sound, everything is amazing!!!/Krister Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
July 1, 200322 yr Lefteris, your observation is correct. I started up an aircraft (with the vc and cabin) and since I immediately was in 2D mode I had good fps - around 20. I then changed to VC and it dropped to 7-8. I then went back to 2D view and clicked on Microsoft Messenger that I have open on my second monitor. Returning to MSFS and 2D view the fps was back again. Also note that the fps dropped when I went to outside view (spot)!!!/Krister Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------
