July 5, 200322 yr Hi all,I would like to make a few comments, I am not trying to speak on behalf of PMDG and any other companies I mention, I am in no ways putting down.OK, So there were a few registartion problems, within in reason I understand the fustration. Now I bought the CS 727 on a friday, and never got the key untill monday afternoon, CS only work small hours during the weekend (quite right to). PMDG have been answering posts during 4th July!! Looking back through this fourm, PMDG have promptly, and always answerd request's, and done their darnest, to get our request's in to the final products, I will go out on a whim here, and question which other developers would be as understanding as PMDG. Im by no means saying that other developers dont put in requests, but I dont think they handle it like PMDG.I have read so many un-realistic posts about this plane and PMDG customer service, both here and on other fourms, and some of them are just outrageous, ranging from things like (The panel is only a quater finished, to complaints about the nose).Discounting a few minor bugs which PMDG have openly admitted, and even said sorry for!! the plane is very much flyable, and enjoyable. I can not for any reason see why people cant fly the plane. Please I ask you to think before you post madness out of sheer fustration, as this will get us know where. PMDG are the kind of developers we want. Please if you have bought the PMDG product, and are not seeking a refund, then dont worry because IMHO you have made a nice purchase. PMDG have promised to fix the problems, and judging by their customer service you should have every confedince that they will.Just a thought, how complete is a windows OS when its released, Yes on the face of it, it works, and yes its more complex. But a few trips to windows update will show you just how incomplete and bug ridden it is, but no body is perfect right. What counts is they aknowaledge problems and sort them out, and this Im sure PMDG will do.Thanks for readingJasonEDIT***before someone else mentions it, The no manual thing was a strange one, but they are coming, and Im sure in the mean time PMDG would gladly answer any questions you had, regarding operating the NG
July 5, 200322 yr Yeah I don't particularly like the registration system, though I understand the reason for it, and after a bit of fumbling, all will eventually get it right. But I just took this bird around for some visual circuits in and out of Sacramento International, including some pretty good banked turns and a couple approaches to stalls...and I don't think I've ever flown a FS jet with a flight model as good as this 737NG. What a joy to fly this airplane. Far as I'm concerned, they got that part right, nearly all of the rest of it right, and this one is going to be a classic...regards,
July 5, 200322 yr Here Here! Agree 110% Can't wait til FS2004 comes out to fly this bird in! The support here has been tremendous to say the least. Have flown mainly GA aircraft until now but think I have a new passion! When the manuals come out, I've got a lot of studying ahead of me to figure out what I'm doing:)George
July 5, 200322 yr I have flown one other plane with a flight model as good (at least seemingly) as this plane. The PMDG 757 for Fly! :) I agree though, I've never ever seen a flight model this good in MSFS. I think it hand flies even better than 767 PIC. According to PMDG all the pitch/power profiles are right on the numbers too.To everyone complaining about the registration, I am not trying to be rude as I'm not a fan of it either, but I just think it's a waste of time to bicker about something like that right now. Either you bought the plane and dealt with the registration, or you refused to. Either way let's keep our eyes on the ball. There are much better things to do with your time and energy right now like enjoying the plane and finding all of the little (and the few big) bugs for PMDG to sort out. This registration topic has been debated to a point of becoming tiring before the relase. Please just let them finish the plane before wasting energy arguing about something that most likely can't and won't be changed until their next product, if at all.-Shaun
July 5, 200322 yr oops! I put this post in the wrong place, LOL. I had just gotten done reading that long thread on the continued registration argument and I guess I am so tired I intermingled the two threads in my mind. oops. sorry. :)-Shaun
